On our last trip, we would have a big breakfast then go all day until dinner.

This time we have decided to it differently. A very light breakfast and then an early lunch, dinner at around 6.30.

This means, as we are in a park for 12hrs & upwards per day, taking a lunch & dinner break will be very welcomed, especially as we are going with my parents as their health requires it.

I am fine with dinner, have it all planned out but I need some ideas for lunch.

It can be either CS or TS (we have delux plan - we're foodies) and it needs to have healthy, light options - I don't want to feel 'heavy' afterwards.

Thanks for any suggestions :goodvibes

For us we love a lunch break - perfect break in the day, even to sit there in the air conditioning and drink a few waters or iced teas! We leave lunch and always are in better spirits and ready to take on the parks again!

I have no CS suggestions, as we never do CS - but TS at each park I could tell you.

MK - we like the Plaza - to me some type of burger, sandwich I consider light.
LTT is another option that has worked well for us with lunch.

DHS - Sci Fi and 50's.

EP - no help there - we only dine at Via Napoli for lunch - which pasta I wouldn't consider light - pizza, yes, though.

AK - haven't done TS there yet.

Thanks for the suggestions stitch34. Yep, I'm thinking the afternoon break would be ideal.

Plaza is a great idea and I'm thinking Via Napoli is perfect for lunch also - will check out the lunch menus of the other places.

No, we haven't done TS at AK either ... I'm not even sure what the options are :confused3

I will tell you that we do that as well. We do a light breakfast and a bigger lunch yet try to eat light. It is a good break from the heat.

MK we have eaten at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe. This is very good - they have wraps and non-fried foods. Ate at TS at Crystal Palace - which the kids love the Winnie the Pooh characters.

Epcot- we have eaten at so many CS - UK, Italy, Mexico, Morroco, all excellent. Also ate TS at Biergarten, Akershus, Tutto Italia, Coral Reef and San Angel Inn. All great.

AK CS A Yak and Yeti - very good food for CS and have light options. Have not ate TS yet. Will be eating at Tusker House for lunch on our next trip.

HS - only ate at Sci Fi Diner for lunch - we all loved it.

Hope this helps.

Enjoy your vacation!

You have lots of good choices, so choosing will be the hard part. Since you are on the deluxe plan, here are my suggestions:

EP: Coral Reef or Akerhaus
MK: I'd take the Monorail and go over to the GF Cafe or Poly Kona Cafe
DHS: Scifi or 50's - probably the 50's since Scifi is a little bit dark inside
AK: Yak n Yeti or Tusker

Have fun planning - you can find the menus on All ears .net and the WDW site also has most of the menus now too.
