It is between these 2:

Cape May
Chef Mickey

Important to me:
1) better food
2) not feeling rushed
3) fun characters

Cape May is more civilised

Chef Mickey's is loud and very very stimulating (also due to Monorail, 14 storey lobby etc)

Thanks

We LOVED Cape May! The buffet was very good and the atmosphere was great. We also loved 1900 Park Fare. After eating at each of those for breakfast, I can't imagine eating at Chef Mickey's. We took the monorail around one day and got off in the Contemporary to catch a boat to FW, and I did not like the set up of the restaurant. It was too much in the open for my taste.

I voted for Cape May although we have not had breakfast at Chef Mickey's. The buffet at Cape May was awesome and the character interaction was great. We had an early PS in June and it was not crowded at all. Besides, where else can you see Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale in their swimsuits? :D

TOUGH CHOICE!!! ;)

You really can not go wrong with any one.

I do feel Cape May was more laid back then Chef Mickey though. We had wonderful character interaction at Cape May, the character (especially Goofy) came back & visited us many times.
We had an early PS (7:45) so it was not crowded, don't know if that had something to do with it.

Another vote for Chef Mickey's!

It is a little loud, but I still enjoyed it. We had the first seating time (7:30 or so) and it was not busy at all.

The characters spent alot of time with us, and even sat down with us at the table, while Pluto was begging for scraps!

I just wanted to add that we did our breakfasts late on a non-park day (11:00) and it was great that we didn't feel like we needed to hurry (not that THEY hurry you, but I would know if people were waiting) because they were not seating anyone after people left. We used that as our lunch, and didn't eat again until dinner.

We originally only had one CB planned (1900 Park Fare) but liked it so much we stopped down at Cape May one morning and were able to get same day PS. I was surprised that even my husband enjoyed the food and character interaction!

I would DEFINITELY choose Cape May, especially since you have given certain criteria for your enjoyment. Chef Mickey's is very loud and stimulating, sometimes too much so, and we didn't feel that we got quite the character experience we had at other character meals.

Another to consider, depending on the ages and preferences of your party, is 1900 Park Faire for breakfast. This is a very nice breakfast buffet.... best on property, with a WONDERFUL food selection. It isn't quite as "hyper" as some of the others, and the characters are WONDERFUL! We had LOTS of interaction with them. When we were there, the characters were Mary Poppins and Bert in the lobby coloring with the kids, and Alice in Wonderland, Pooh and Tigger inside. Sometimes Eeyore or the Mad Hatter are there, as well!

Whatever you decide, have a wonderful time!:)

Cape May Definitely ,
we have been 1900 park fare fans up until this year, but Cape May was great, Get there for the 1st seating, my son got to ring the breakfast bell so we got seated 1st , while he rang the bell and got a Magical Moments Certificate with Tinkerbell and his name on it.

The food was good , The characters were friendly, all the characters were in thier beach clothes, CHip and Dale, Goofy, Minnie, They all spent a lot of time with us.
