Hi,

We just booked our ADRs for our August trip. Got everything we wanted but had to swap out Le Cellier and Akershus days because Le Cellier was already sold out for Aug. 21. No worries. We are going for 9 nights and have 8 table service planned (regular dining plan).

So here is a list of what we booked. We are pretty plain in our tastes. Steak, chicken, etc. No fish. Nothing too fancy. I like BBQ and most anything. The rest of the family can be pretty picky but as long as there is some standard fare we are okay. So here is the list of what we booked. Give me some other ideas for our last night. Location doesn't matter as we have that day free so far.

Crystal Palace
Akershus
Chef Mickeys
1900 Park Fare
Tusker House
Le Cellier
Mama Melrose
Liberty Tree Tavern

You could try something at the WL like Whispering Canyon Cafe or the buffet at Fort Wilderness, Trail's End. They have pretty standard food.

Biergarten
Cape May Clambake definately not all seafood.
Tutto Italy
Yak and Yeti

We always like to spend our finally evening at the Magic Kingdom. We plan to go to MK hop the monorail over to Poly for dinner at Kona Cafe and then back to MK for the rest of the evening. You might want to give that some thought. Or you could eat at O'Hana. Gets you out of the hustle and bustle of the park for a little bit and then back to the MK to say goodbye!

Narcoossee's - our favorite w/ LeCellier
Brown Derby
Boma
Tutto-Italy (not a large variety on the entree menu but what is there is good-might want to check menus on allears.net much better than MMelrose IMHO)
Coral Reef-but we ate fish

Happy planning pixiedust:

I love Kona cafe but that might not be too plain. I'm not sure if these would be but I recommend: GF cafe, tutto, yak & yeti. This time we are trying 50s prime time too. I can recommend 2 credit places but not sure if you only wanted 1 cr ones

We just made ADRs for the same time period. We are not fish eaters either but love Coral Reef for the steak and atmosphere. We also like GF Cafe and 50s Primetime.

ohanas at the poly is great and for good home cooking we love 50's prime time café

Thanks everyone. We ended up booking Ohana for dinner. We've been there for breakfast and weren't all that impressed (not bad but it wasn't great). But the menu looked good for dinner. Plus the family style and buffets are best for us as we have big kids that don't do well on kid's meals with the dining plan. We love the all you can eat stuff. :) (gotta start losing weight now so we can put it back on).

Two must do's for us that you don't have listed are 50's Prime Time and Biergarten. No 9 day trip is complete without them (at least not to us).

Funny my wife went without me one year a while back and went to 50s and had a bad experience (I forget if it was food or service) but won't go back even though I suggest it. Biergarten I would like but she looked at the menu and said no. :(

Grand Floridian Cafe would be my pick. You have a lot of buffets there, so it would break it up nicely. Also the Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club is a great choice.

Yeah, the buffets are best for us because of my 2 boys. They would be pretty sick of the same kids meals offered at most restaurants (with the exception of one or two different items they are mostly all the same). My 9 year old is never full from a kids meal. So with the buffets we don't have to worry about that at all. Next year the 9 year old son will be 10 and maybe we'll be able to do more of the nicer places! An excuse to go back is always good. My youngest boy is 6 and then we are going with our friend and her 2 little girls. It'll be cool to see the girls do all the Princess stuff. I'm really getting psyched for this trip.

Boma breakfast buffet is a must. Spoodles suprisingly good. Didn't care for ohana's or 50's prime time cafe. Beaches and Cream for a sundae is a must also, but the sundaes are large- we usually split them.
