We are in New England (can fly out of several airports) and we want to meet up w/ our friends who live in MN this Jan. We would like to meet someplace warm, hopefully at least 70's. We would like to stay in the country. She wants to go to Fla. but we take two trips a year to Fla. already so I was trying to come up w/ another suggestion. Is ther any other place warm enough for us?

Well, even Orlando has an average of 70 in January (about), so it's not what I'd call really warm that time of year -- for me, that has to be at least 85. LOL! But what about San Diego? Or Las Vegas? Or go to Disneyland in California?

Phoenix or Scottsdale, Arizona!
The weather at that time of year gets chilly at night, but nice and warm during the day. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think that Jan. is peak season (usually the fall and spring is) so rates might be a little cheaper. There are tons of beautiful resorts and hotels at all price ranges and lots of great deals out there in the web. It is just sooo beautiful and lots to do, or nice to just relax...
