Help me pick a signature restaurant

I am looking to try a signature restaurant for my trip in June. We have never tried any of the signatures before. It will be me, my mom, DH, DD-16, DD-12 and we will be going to MK after dinner. Which one would you choose?

Our DD15 and DS11 love Citricos. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. Since you'll be headed to MK, you can just hop on the monorail when you're finished eating. Citricos has been a family favorite for us the last 3 years running and I'm sure we'll go there again on our trip next January.

HANDS DOWN CALIFORNIA GRILL!!!
Especially if u have young kids, they will VERY much appreciate the breathtaking pricesless view of pretty much all of Disney World depending on what side u sit on. But if u go and stay for Wishes, it is a view of the show like no other and they pipe the music through on the deck. It is really exceptional. And the excellent food and wine experts are just the icing on the cake and make this a place that much more a MUST on my trips every year

If you are only choosing one I'd have to go with California Grill. While we LOVE Citricos just as much, the views, the fireworks, the food,service and MK accessibility @ CG all equal one heck of an evening

Another option if only choosing one is Narcoossees...again, the food, service, view and water show + fireworks and ease of transport to MK afterwards.

California Grill. I think the food there is consistently good, including flatbreads, sushi, etc. And the view is unparalleled. Plus, after your meal you could either take the monorail or walk to MK. The walk is about 8-10 minutes.

I think in that area of WDW and with the age of your children, Citricos has the best food.

I was able to get a ressie at California Grill at 5:40. I guess that will be too early to wait around for wishes. I am still excited!!!!!

We loved California Grill and I think you'll have a great time with your kids. There were a lot of families there when we were there last.

California Grill is our favorite signature. The staff is great and the food is fantastic--and you don't have to stay for fireworks--just head over to MK. You can always go back up to view them if you want.

Definitely a good choice! If you're only trying one signature restaurant on your trip, and you want to stay in the Magic Kingdom area, California Grill really is the best choice. And with an early reservation, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the park after dinner.

I'm sure you'll really enjoy it. This might not suit your plans if you want to stay in MK, but if you don't feel like watching the fireworks in the park, you can go back to the 2nd floor of the Contemporary, show them your receipt, and they'll take you back up to the restaurant so you can watch the fireworks from there.

I vote California grill. If you time it right you can have a nice relaxing dinner and have dessert right as the fireworks go off. We had 6:45 ressies two years ago and our wonderful waiter streatched our meal out and we saw the castle light and the fireworks at dinner. I don't go out on the roof deck because of my fear of hieghts but they pipe the sound into the resturant and it is wonderful.
Last year we tryed Citrocos. Service was great! My son wants to be a chef and the chef came out and gave him a tour of the kitchen, but my husband couldn't find anything he really liked to eat. He is a meat and potato guy.
So this year Cali for us not Citro.
