DH and I want to have breakfast/brunch at the World before flying out. We will probably have a park day ticket left, so we could breakfast at a park. We have an evening flight, so we'll have to check out and then hang out somewhere anyway. Its Sat Sept 6, so DHS has EMH.

Any breakfast suggestions. DH is not into character dining, but we're just looking for a good meal. We've never done a TS breakfast before and have no idea what would be good. Any suggestioons for a great breakfast?

Thanks!!

I recommend Kona at the Poly! Mmmmm, Tonga Toast

I also hear that Spoodles has a good breakfast, but I have only had dinner there. If you eat at Spoodles, it is a quick walk over to Epcot, so you could spend your last afternoon there if you wish.

Enjoy!

For the past few years, my DW and I have had the character breakfast at 8:00 A.M. at the Cape May Cafe. The food is very good and the atmosphere is laid back for a character meal. Following breakfast, we take the 10-minute walk to Epcot and spend the rest of our time there.

If you don't want to do a character breakfast, you are going to be pretty limited finding a TS at the parks. You might want to eat at a resort you have always wanted to see and take in the atmosphere there before you head to the parks. I always like to check out the menus on allears.net. :)

The last few trips we've done a character breakfast on our last day. We don't go into the parks that day and usually leave MCO about 2:30. Last year we did 'Ohana and it was really good. Even if you don't like the characters. Year before we did Park Fare-also very good. I make the ressies for pretty late in the a.m. (10-11) and this has worked very well for us. Most people are in a hurry to get to the parks and this leaves the restaurants pretty empty. And we've never felt rushed to leave.

I've heard good things about Bomas for breakfast (we've only done dinner-good!) and it has the added benefit of being able to check out AKL-my favorite resort. Also, no characters.

Hope this helps.

I vote Kona Cafe...never eaten there but we're staying at the Poly in June and have 2 TS ADR's there one for brfast and 1 for dinner, beyond the Tonga Toast, the menu includes:

Big Kahuna: french toast, pancakes, eggs, and more

Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes

Steak and Eggs

Plus several other yummy sounding things

Plus I hear if you like Coffee...the best is here.

Check out various resort restaurants menus on the UG site I'm sure wherever you pick will be divine, I find eating out for brfast is always a treat...better than the bowl of cereal or bagel at home huh?

Thanks for all the tips, everyone! I'm still not sure what we're going to do, but we'll figure it out eventually. I think I'm going to go ahead and make all my other ADRs now so that I know we get them. :thumbsup2
