Help me pick a good wine

chinese and ***i plum wine is great......especially for those who do not like a wine ........I love this stuff and you can get it at japans fast food in Epcot......delicious...a womans wine.......

I second the Gewurztraminer. Have your wine merchant help you pick one from Alcase, France, perhaps from Trimbach Vineyards. It'll be reasonably priced and delicious! A nice pairing with Chinese food.

I have a St. Supery Sauvignon Blanc chilling for tomorrow night between dinner and midnight. That is crisp and clean and will pair nicely with Chinese, too.

Luna De Luna makes a great Pinot Grigio. Its inexpensive about $9-12 a bottle. Its in a great blue bottle and is absolutely yummy with Chinese food.

Riesling is a nice compliment to Chinese and other spicy Asian cuisine, such as Thai. It is also a good universal wine that many people will drink, including those that don't particularly like wine.

good to hear this... I just picked up a bottle of this for tonight... I'm a wine novice (white zin!) & a friend recommended this one..

Thanks for all the recommendations. We ended up with a blackberry merlot that was surprisingly very tasty! We also had a Shiraz Grenache (Australian)that was good but a little to peppery for me.
