Okay. I am supposed to ( by my calculations) be able to make reservations for my vacation that starts Dec 11th at 3am on Saturday Sept 12th. (1st queston - do I have that right?) I have to confess I am much more comfortable with this site than the actual Disney.com site.

Can someone let me know what "path" to take to make the reservations and what information I should have at the ready? I made the ressie through AAA. Will their confirmation number work? I played around a bit but I don't seem to get very far. I plan to wake up and be ready at 3am ( since I am on the West Coast) and I since I will be doing the reservaton while I am half asleep anything that might help, tips to make this go smoothly would be appreciated.

Once a reservation is made how to you "bring it back up" in case you want to cancel or modify it?

Thanks again

Ok, yes, your calculations are correct, as there are only 30 days in September and November. :) Sept 12th is correct.

If you choose to book online, you go to www.disneyworld.com --> "Book" --> "Dining reservations" (I am not sure if this is on a sticky, but at least you will have this at your fingertips). You can try to play with the site before your day, just to be confortable. DOn't get me wrong; it won't let you actually book anything, but you can try to place your info in and get a feel for the selection/search process on the reservation page.

As far as the number that AAA gave you, I can't tell you if it is correct. I recommend calling 407-WDW-DINE before the 12th to find out if this is the correct number that you will need. If not, it would give you time to get the correct number from AAA.

Good luck!!! May pixie dust line your path!

Don't know if it's always been like this, but this week when we made our ADR's, the new 90 day window appears at 3am Eastern, which would be midnight your time.

You will have created a login by now, so login with your user name and password. Then select "My Disney Vacation" in the upper right of your screen, then select "Dining Reservations". Enter the confirmation number you received when you made your ADR, along with the phone number associated with that ADR. Then click on "Retrieve Dining".

Just made mine last night. I had called Disney Dining earlier in the day and got a new confirmation number, because I'd been trying to login with my resort confirmation number, and it hadn't worked. The one that didn't work was three letters followed by 5 numbers; the one that ended up working was a very long string of numbers.

I couldn't login after going to dining reservations and trying there (kept getting error messages, or try back later messages, which many people are getting) at 12:30 am PST. Seriously--this has not worked lately for many people.

So I came back here in a panic and got a great tip: instead of trying to logon at resort reservations or 'retrieve your reservation' or dining, just click on 'discover' at the top of the WDW site without trying to logon at all. Then find the resort or park where your first dining reservation is located, on the FIRST night of your stay. Click on that. Then click on the restaurant there that you want. Then click on 'book a reservation.' THEN you will be able to enter your information and it will work! Continue on that way, searching for each restaurant you want. It may only show the first night of your stay, and if so, when you try to click on other days, it will ask if you are staying at a resort, and then will ask for your confirmation number again and will retrieve your reservation and will link it to your dining reservation. At that point, you are good to reserve anything 10 days out from your first night.

It sounds complicated, but it's not. Just remember, if you have trouble, go to 'discover'!! Good luck! :wizard:

PS: You have to call to make reservations for CRT (the online reservation system for it is down) and CP.

OK I'm new to the online ADR system and I'm currently trying to put in my reservation number (I'm reading it straight off the confirmation papers from Disney) and it keeps giving me some error code, but in the instructions it says to put in my phone number with it. Do I put it in right after my confirmation number? Because either way it isn't working. Ive tried it a million different ways, none of which will work. I'm getting very frustrated! Any help?

Ok, I keep reading about people making ADR's at 3am, midnight, 6am, etc. I am able to make my 90 + 10 ADR's, on Sept 17th. I am located in CST. What time would I be able to book, online? By phone? Also, I will need to call Group Dining, to book a couple ADR's, what time do they open?

I was just trying to fool with the dining reservation website myself and accidentally made a reservation. OOPS...So I called the dining number to cancel, and found out that the online system opens at 6AM eastern time at the 90 day mark.

There isn't a place to put in your phone number anymore. Disney was working with the website last week and never updated it at the top. You are suppose to put in your confirmation number, last name your reservation is reserved under, date of stay and select the resort you are staying at. If you staying at Bay Lake Towers, Sorry, but you will have to call disney dining to make your ADRS. I have called Technical Support about the issued 3 times already because it irritates me to no end that they forgot to put Bay Lake Towers on the list, but they say they are working on it.

I just called the 407-wdw-dine and they could in fact pull up my confirmation number from AAA. So now I only hope it works this coming Saturday.

FYI: I tried to make on line ressies (at 5:00 am central) for 12/2-12/6 and apparently, so did every other person with a ressie on those dates! I tried for about 20 min, but kept getting a message that basically said the server was too busy. I picked up the phone at 5:59 am (central time) and after holding for 26 minutes, I got all my first choices.

I really would like my lost hour of sleep back!

TRSPOHR- Hi! Since you are in CST, you would call at 6 am or try the online system starting at 5 am (someone said that it would be open a bit earlier, but to follow the rules to a T, it would be 5 am central). 407-WDW-DINE can book larger parties as well. I booked there for all of my ressies, as our family has 11 people going on this trip. The only thing that they cannot book would be grand gathering experiences (which are available 180 days in advance). Those 3 grand gathering experiences are the only things that the dining reps at 407-wdw-dine can't help you with (except for V&A's, which is just another option on the same phone line). Good luck! Yeah for Disney trips!!

I also booked my trip with AAA. I was able to book all my reservations this past Saturday and the on-line system worked great. I am not a computer person, but this is what it did:

Go here now:

http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/restaurants/

Pick any restaurant as if you were booking a reservation. Click on Retrieve Your Reservation. Enter the confirmation # you rec'd from AAA, your last name, arrival date, and resort. My trip info was successfully retrieved.

If your trip info is correct, you know your AAA # is correct.

This past Saturday I entered all this info after pulling up the first restaurant I wanted. I then opened up 7 more windows - each one with the different restaurants I wanted to book. I was surprised to see that it started to let me book each restaurant and it was not 6 am yet. By 6:20 I had all 8 restaurants booked successfully with confirmation numbers. Good luck!
