If anyone in your family is allergic to mosquito bites, Off wipes are great to carry with you.

I always figure that as long as we have our prescriptions and eyeglasses, anything else is replaceable. Most important then would be not to forget a great go with the flow stress-free attitude - when I remember to bring that for myself, our families trips are so much more enjoyable :)

One of my favorite tips: I always bring on of those hanging sweater organizers to hang in the closet. I bought one at Walmart last week for about $15.. http://www.target.com/p/8-shelf-clo...sku=12227219&gclid=CNiS5Krd2b8CFUVo7AodkW8Afg .our old one is safely hidden away in the midst of our current construction and I can't find it.

It's perfect for shoes, flip flops, hats, wallets, magic bands...whatever we're bringing to the parks.

Does your,IPad have a kindle app? If so you can skip the Nook.

Something else: I went to our MDE account and printed up our itinerary. I cut each day apart and taped each day not an index card....mso much easier to keep track of all those FPs and ADRs

sunglasses
chapstick
moleskin
any meds you need
couple of bandaids (these are available at first aid, but it's a bother to go get them)

I think I remember reading that the washers and driers no longer take coins but card, could be wrong though :confused3

deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, razors, shaving foam and shower gel are all expensive to buy on property

gum, cant get that anywhere at Disney

ponchos much cheaper to bring your own than buying from Disney

peppermint foot cream is fantastic for sore and tired feet at the end of the day

cal:)

It might be worth it to bring a Tide-to-go stick or a small stain stick. Also, instead of buying detergent/dryer sheets you can bring a small bit of each. I have a small bag of the All Mighty Pacs and a small box of Bounce set to the side for our trip (8 weeks, ahh!). Another thought is a pop up hamper-you can get one or 2 from the dollar store for about $3 each and it fits perfectly at the bottom of a suitcase! Super handy for dirty clothes keeping.

The one tip I read a few.months ago that I thought was great was a pad is post it's for the automatic flushers. I don't mind these but it scares the begezus outta my niece.

And portable cell charger/cord. I used Anker brand and worked great, fit in pocket

Oh, and don't forget a power strip. Thanks for the reminder... I'm going to run now and put one into the Disney Bin in my living room!

What an awesome idea!

Stain stick is a must. I've also got a bag of those detergent pods for easy washing in our 1br at OKW.

Extra things on my list:
  • Moleskin/Bodyglide
  • Misters/fans
  • Sunglasses
  • Nightlight for bathroom
  • Power strip to charge electrical items
  • Charging cords of electrical items (phone, camera, etc.)
  • Ponchos
  • At least three pairs of shoes per person (in case they get wet)
  • Extra contact lenses
  • Wet wipes (I like Kleenex Splash and Go wipes)
  • Baggallini Messenger Bagg (love it!)
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Ziploc bags
  • Visor

Not sure if you just left off the "s", but you listed swimsuit. I highly recommend two or three per person since it can take forever for them to dry in the humid summer air, I don't throw them in the dryer cause then the dryer smells like chlorine.

I did a search on packing lists and found a great one here on post 16

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3208607&page=2&highlight=packing+list

I was just coming here to post this. I actually put this list on my Pinterest so I'd be able to find it easily whenever I want. It's SO comprehensive, and obviously no one family will need everything on the list. But it's perfect to look at after you've done the majority of your packing, and you're thinking to yourself, "Okay, what have I forgotten?" You can just run down the list and go, "Got it, got it, don't need it, don't need it, got it...oh, crap, I still need that!"

I've used it for Disney and non-Disney trips for the last couple of years - very helpful!
