I need help! My Rotary club is having a 5k run fundraiser for the first time in December. We need a catchy name. I know how creative everyone on this board is, so please send me your thoughts.

Here's some I've come up with so far, but I just don't get the WOW feel from them.

Santa Sprint
Holiday Hustle (this one I do kind of like...)
December Dash
St. Nick Scurry
Reindeer Run

TIA for your replies!!! :wizard:

Here in Pennsylvania, we have the Frozen Foot series of runs. :p Not sure if you get quite that cold in your part of the Carolinas. ;)

We're in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. 30 minutes from a ski slope, so it does get cold here!

Thanks!!!

We have a Jingle Bell Run here. They give out small jingle bells that you pin to your shirt. Lots of jingling in the race. It's cute.
Good luck!

I was thinking Jingle Bell Run, too. Jingle Jog?

We have a Santa Shuffle up here and the Resolution Run is New Year's Day

Was thinking the same thing. I have heard of a Jingle Bell Dash here that sounds very similar.

We've done some local races in winter, with names like "Frostbite Footrace" and the famous "Brrrrry-Scrrrrey"

I know this is going to sound crazy, but I would stay away from the "Christmas" theme and go toward a Holiday theme. That way you don't offend any groups. The last thing you need is negative press surrounding your event.

I like the Holiday Hustle or the Holiday Hop.

Thanks everyone!

On the Christmas theme - I thought about that too, but we are smack dab in the middle of the Bible Belt. We'll probably end up with a Frosty, Winter, Jingle Bell, etc theme, but no one here would give a Christmas icon a second worry. We are a pretty homogeneous community.

Oh, and don't stop - keep those ideas coming!!!
