Help me move to Solon, Ohio!!

We currently live about an hour south of Solon, and are looking to move to Solon b/c DH works there. He is tired of the hour commute each way, and I don't blame him!!

I have DS5 who will be starting kindergarten next year. I can't find out if they have whole day or half day. It says both!!! What does that mean?? One artice from 2007 says they charge for full day, but aren't allowed to do so. I can't find anything more recent. I am so confused!!!

Also, I have DS3 who needs to go to preschool. What are some good preschools in Solon? Right now, he is in a daycare preschool 3 days a week from 9-3. He loves it!! I think I would like something like that b/c he is already used to it and learning so much!!

I need all the help I can get!! Any info is great. Once I figure out where/when school is, I can decide where I can get a job!! I am hoping I will be able to sub---I was a teacher before I had the kids!!

Do a websearch for Solon OH school system (I don't know if Ohio is by city or county). That should give you contact information for the school board, and then you can call and talk to them. We did this when we moved from Europe to Kentucky last year, and we were able to set up appts to meet with the special needs head (even though we had no house yet) and find the links to all the elem schools. That's where we started our house search, too, by picking the elem schools we liked.

You should also be able to find a site for the city gov't, and it should include links about city services, service area (like recycling), etc.
