It's not clear exactly what you're asking. Do you want a resort recommendation? Do you need the telephone number? Park tickets question? What is it that you need? Post something specific about when you're going, what you want to do, where you want to stay, etc., and I'm sure you'll get some responses.

Adora, your post is rather vague as the previous poster said.....not sure what help you are looking for??? If you give us some dates and ask for hotel recommendations, I am sure you will get many responses.

perfect, thank you...I'm going Apr 19-29th. april 19-23 at POP and 23-29 at CSR . A room only is all we need. Bought tickets through Mousesavers. Just wondering what everyone does? Internet, phone, isn't there two parts when you call, or do you always get the one person no matter what?? (CRO and something else?) What numebr do you call? do you ask anything before you book? anything in particular you tell them when you book? Should I tell them that we won't be arriving until 8, or not bother? I'm guessing they'll be looking for 2 nights of deposit since I'm changing hotels? Can't think of anything else right now. If you think of something I left out, add it or ask!! Thanks again!

You can do it over the internet, but I would recommend calling instead, because AAA rates may be available for your dates, and with such a long stay, an AAA discount would almost certainly save you money. (Or, I guess, in your case, a CA discount -- same thing, I think.) You can't get AAA rates over the internet.

The phone number for CRO is 1-407-WDISNEY. The phone tree will guide you. When you get a human, tell them you want to make a room only reservation. Most of the reservation agents know how to do this -- some will tell you they can only sell you a package. If you get the latter, just hang up and try again. It shouldn't take more than 2 attempts to get a room only reservation.

Tell them your dates, and if you want a CA discount ask for it. If they tell you no CA discount is available, ask if it can be applied to some but not all of your nights. Give them any special requests right away -- such as nonsmoking or building preferences. (I don't know about these two resorts in particular to advise about building preferences, but go on the resort board and read the faq which will contain lots of suggestions about what to ask for.)

You don't need to tell them that you are checking in at 8 -- that's no problem.

You do have to pay a deposit of one night at each resort when you do a split stay.

I just have a thought here.....if you are a late check in and have requested something specific for your room, I would let them know that you are a later check-in......just so that you do not lose what you might have requested... People do like to get there early and get in their rooms and start their vacation, I just would not want you to disappointed if you did not get what you wanted.

Just curious if you have to any certain level of CAA. or if it would be worth it for me to get CAA just for the fact of getting the discount? are you able to phone and find out what kind of discount you'd get first? I know many people probably don't know about CAA but I figure it porbably works the same way as AAA. Thanks for your help, keep it coming :)

I have never been asked for my AAA number when making a reservation, but others have reported they have been asked. My confirms always just say I will need to provide it on check in. If CRO asks you for the number, just say you haven't bought it yet, but will buy it if the rate is available. If you don't like your CRO person, just hang up and call again. I have the standard AAA membership, with no bells or whistles, and I've always received the WDW discount where available.

It will almost certainly be worth it for your stay. You are straddling peak and regular season. Either way, it's a straight 15 percent discount for value and moderates, so you're looking at saving at least $200 USD; probably more.

By the way, I think your first day at CSR is the first day of regular season, from peak season, which might book up quickly. Also, I'm not sure what the rule is on split stays. Usually, you get the rate in effect on the first day of your stay. Where you do a split stay, I'm not sure you're going to get the regular season rate for CSR -- you should confirm that with CRO.
