Ok. I am down to 3 different locations. I need help on where to pick. I got some good advice so far, but need a little push on the final call. We are going spring break March 31 to April 9. It will be me and DH and DD10. We have stayed at CR, POLY and BC before. Mostly Poly, but BC has become a favorite as well. Poly is out of the question because of expense. We do Park Hopping. We love MK and Epcot and do most of our time there. We also have to do the dining plan for DH. So, here are the choices:

1. POP - entire stay $4,218
2. PO - entire stay $4,724
3. POP one night and then over to BC for rest of stay $5,600.

I would love everyone's opinion.

Thanks! I should also add both POP and PO are preferred locations that I booked. We like to be close to fill our mugs in the morning. and its the BC Villas.

No way would I stay at POP for an entire PEAK week unless that is the only way we could stay onsite. (Especially since you are used to the deluxes!) POP is going to be extremely hectic ( pools, food court, etc)

I love BC!! I'd vote for it every time! EPCOTS our favorite, and I love all the options available in the area for dining & entertainment!:yay:

Choice 3 définitely..BC is Awesome..money and disney go hand in Hand worth the expense

Port Orleans is great too. Even when it is at capacity (Christmas week) it did not feel crowded. Plus great food and a fun pool.

BC is my favorite resort, but I would probably go with PO because you haven't stayed there yet. There is no way I would stay at Pop. It was crowded during a regular season visit, let alone at peak time.

For a few hundred more I would do POR the entire week. You are used to being in a Deluxe then going to a crowded double bed room might not be so great. I would go moderate all the way. Or a split stay like I am doing.. POR 5 nights BWI two nights.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think we will scratch No. 1 off the list. Now to decide between 2 and 3! I wouldn't mind trying POP if we werent going over spring break. We usually only go during peak times, Spring Break and Christmas so we know what the crowds are like. I'm just worried POP may be a little too overwhelming for us during that time. The double beds do not thrill me either. I would have to sleep with DD as DH snores terribly when we are on vacation.

PO And drop the prefferred location it is a small resort.

I'm like you I can't decide between Port Orleans Riverside or the Yacht Club for our next trip. We have POR with a preferred room booked for our December trip, but will change to the YC if a discount comes out. We always stay at POR and are very satisfied there, but would love to stay at an Epcot resort during the Christmas season. Very hard to decide!:confused3:santa:

POR hands down. Many options and as close to deluxe you can get for mod pricing. Grounds are amazing and choosing a RR is more of a deluxe feel as well. Boat to DTD is a huge plus.

POR would be my choice not only is it a nice resort there is a great main pool and there are smaller (still pretty big) pools in each cluster of buildings that are nice. Food court is great and lots of options. Evening entertainment in the bar that's family friendly. Boat to DTD is awesome and don't forget it's like a two for one staying there as you can go to the French quarter as well which opens up the qs food options and pool etc.

The resorts like BC and YC etc look great but I would rather save the money for more shopping or maybe a day trip to discovery cove etc.

Well, my first question is which parks do you plan to spend the most time in?

The reason for asking is that #3 allows you to walk to two parks if necessary, avoiding the overloaded peak season transportation. If you visit MK while staying at POP (since you would have a dedicated bus there) and then Epcot and DHS while at BCV, you would avoid a lot of transportation hassles.

However, if you plan to spend a larger amount of time at MK, then staying at POR might be the better choice - although I have encountered issues with overloaded buses at POR in the past that typically puts it lower on my list if I'm traveling during busier seasons (and Easter week is very busy).

Without question I vote for the BC. I've been in your exact situation and opted to save the money. The first time I realized that I couldn't go through the back gate (at Epcot) and go to our room, I recognized that I had made a mistake. IMO there is just something priceless about being able to walk back and forth to Epcot at will (and HS - but it's quite a hike). Now granted, Epcot is my favorite park by legions so that has everything to do with it. BUT, keep in mind that there are TONS of activities around the BC - you can walk to the BW, the BW resort, Swan, Dolphin, Dance Hall etc... The pool is also fabulous at the BC (although we rarely use it when we stay there). After years of visiting Disney we almost never stay anywhere other than the BW, BC or YC. Even if it means we visit fewer times than we'd like. That's how much our wonderful experiences at that location has colored our vacationing. Just one (Epcot and Boardwalk obsessed) person's opinion :-)

We spend about the same time at MK and EPCOT. Hollywood studios right behind them. AK, we will go to once. We love to meander around Epcot after a day at another park.
