Ok, I've been shopping PHL-MCO airfares on Airtran for the first week of November for MONTHS. Finally, my flight down went on sale and I bought it for $79. Not bad. The flight home, though, has been through the roof - like $180! So I've been waiting and checking and waiting and checking. Today, it went down to $99. Not great, but better. It's not considered a sale fare, so it could go down lower - but what if it doesn't? What if it goes back up?

So the question is should I buy now, or wait and see? If I buy now and the fare goes down later, will they reimburse me the difference? Has anyone been successful in doing this with Airtran?

buy now. and if it goes down 20 or 25 bucks who cares.

Do you have your heart set on AirTran or would you be willing to fly SWA? SWA will have at least the $79 fare, and I would not be surprised to see that go down. Just something to think about. Good luck!
