Help me make a decision please!

I couldn't get BC for our whole stay 5/9-5/18, so I did a split stay at YC GV for 3 nights and BC GV for 5 nights. A the time the only avail at BC was check in the 12th. I keep checking to see if I can switch to all BC to no avail. However BC WV has now opened up for all but the first night. So I could do YC WV for one night (we land at 4:45pm so it's mainly to eat and sleep) followed by BC WV for 7 nights for approx $600 extra. I don't care about the view but do care about convenience. The other option is POR for arrival night followed by BC WV for 7 nights for about $400 extra. We won't have a car and we will have all the stuff for our family of 5 as well as a GG order. We have never done a split stay except to stay at DTD Hilton on arrival night, but that doesn't really count. WWYD?

Eta- I'm a little nervousness about having DHs laptop switching resorts via bell services b/c it is work issued and if it disappears that's going to be bad. Our stuff would just be left in the first room and show up to the 2nd room later in the day right?

I voted to keep the YC/BC split. Since moving would happen with any of the reservations, I wouldn't spend $400 for POR or $600 for 1 night at the YC just to move to a water view at the BC to have a view that I really didn't want/need. Plus, moving from the YC to the BC would be super easy as you can walk over to the BC with your luggage and check in without having bell services move it for you. I would also keep checking to see if BC GV becomes available for the whole time as people do cancel and you never know if what you want will become available. Good luck and have a great trip.

I agree that you should keep your reservation. I have heard that you can have your laptop stored in secure location at the resort rather than in the luggage room. Ask at the desk about it.

Awesome, I am all about saving the cash. I will keep watching to see if anyone cancels. If not, hopefully it will go smoothly.
