What names do you have in mind ?
AshleighI don't really have a theme for names.Do you have like a theme in your book? Like all characters are named from a famous play or something? Sometimes that works..
Or like think of a personality trait for your character like umm "Shy" and translate it into a different language or whatever. For instance the french word "Timide" translated into Latin is "vercundus" (according to the internet!) and then work on the name from there. Many authors use these kind of similar ways to make names ironic or meaningful etc. Also it helps inspire.

Cullen, Allie, use Cullen. XD
Yes, but then I would keep getting thoughts of Jessica and Edward and that would just be wrong.I agree.
My name is Jessica and I would love having that last name.
And your guys name should be Edward.![]()

I do that whenever I write short stories.
And here I was, thinking I was being original!![]()
And Allie, what are the last names of the characters?
It'd be easier to pick a name for the guy if we knew the last name, to see how they'd sound together.
And just outta curiousity, how far are you into writing it?
