It's got Grumpy with his arms folded sitting in a car just like the cars they use for Snow White's Adventures in MK. I saw it in a curio cabinet at The Art of Disney store in DTD. The cabinet was filled with WDCC collectibles, but since I've been back home. I can't seem to find it in any WDCC list of available items. I never even bothered to check on the price and now I can't stop thinking about that little figurine and how cute it was! Please help me at least identify it! Is it WDCC?

That particular Grumpy figurine was released at the Art Classics Convention this past May. You could only buy it if you attended the convention.

It is cute isn't it!

You can only buy it in WDW. They sell the extras (like the one you saw) to the public after the convention was over. They will sell them until they are gone. I got the grumpy and the madhatter after the convention was over. There is a dumbo one and also a base for all three, not sure if all are still available. They were after the convention ended.

Is this convention part of the WDCC? I never heard of it. Oh well, if you can only buy it at WDW, now I have an excuse to go back! I wonder if it was in the stores at MK and Epcot, or only at DTD. If so, that's real specific. Thanks for your help! I thought maybe I was just imagining I saw something!

You should be able to buy the piece(s) at any of the gallery stores that still have them -- there is one in each of the parks (except Animal Kingdom).

I know the Epcot shop called me after the convention and said they had pieces left...but they told me I could only buy the entire set...not individual pieces. I only wanted Grumpy and Dumbo :(. Ah well.

You can call the park and order them if you want.
I wouldn't wait to long, because they are limited edition.

Good luck!

And yes, this was a WDCC Convention that was held in May.

They have one or two a year between Disneyland and Disney World. If you are in the WDCC Club, there is always information about the next one in the Sketches magazines.
