we leave in 1 month 23 days...and I am now obsessed with planning our itinerary...I have changed it so many times because of the great tips on these boards!!!!!!!
After our first trip WDW has become an obsession. I read the books before our first trip but you really don't get it until on your first trip. I quickly read over the books again but that wasn't enough. I went to the library and checked out all the WDW books they had. But I still wanted more. I got turned on to allears next by a co-worker. We spend each Wednesday solving the mousebogglers - we are going to win that darn snow globe. Then I found a chat room. This has lead to all the other WDW websites and now I have found the DIS!!!
If you have made it here then you are beyond help! You have joined everyone else here and are now addicted and you will not be able to break away. Just give in and admit you are now one of us.
Agreed, I have been booked for months for an upcoming trip 11/25-12/2 and having been planning since then. Once I got turned on to this site, I have been checking restaurants and park hours, etc. My DH and I are going with my DBFF and she hasn't been her in 18 years. I want to make sure she sees and experiences everything, but I am so obsessed that both of them think I have totally "lost it". At least this addiction is legal
DH says I have become obsessed with planning our trip (one month, 3 weeks and 2 days to go!!! ).
At first, I wasn't all that into the planning; its been 20 years since I have been to WDW and the only advance planning that my family did was getting reservations to have a character breakfast. My DH was actually the one who bought the WDW planning guide. I really only became this involved when we decided to get the dining plan... since all the table-service restaurants "recommend" ADRs, I wanted to plan out where we wanted to eat, which means we needed to have some sort of plan as to what park we would need to be in. But now, I have read that planning guide a dozen times and have searched the net for any and all tips I can find!

I know what you mean. My first week here I was very anti planning. I even created threads about how I hate to plan and I just do whatever I feel like it. Since coming here though I have found myself planning out the trip I am going on in 3 days. Loosley by everyone here's standards but a plan nonetheless. My mom hates schedules even more than I do though so I am not telling her that I have everything planned. Ha!
