Help me! I am being consumed by HGTV!

How do you get away from the tv when this channel is on? There is just one great show on after another! I want to rip my entire house apart and try all the ideas I see on these shows! And of course I feel oh so totally inadequate after watching all these talented people...

It's not just idle tv watching. You're learning to stretch a dollar and increase the value in your house. And by watching that channel you're making the sponsors happy who will then make more and better products for you to use to increase the value in your house. And increasing the value in your house while stretching a dollar allows you to save money for trips to WDW. And who can argue with that?

Another important point, my dd likes to watch the craft shows with me, so we're bonding. Now, how can you bond with your family if you're watching infomercials or the Weather Channel, or the TV Guide Channel?

Of course, if watching HGTV interferes with the DIS, well, then you may have to cut back--on HGTV that is, not the DIS.
