Hi dis'ers! I have a friend leaving next Sat and just found out that husband has to limit walking and focus on hydration. I told her I would ask here about scooter and wheel chair rentals that deliver and are reputable and not so expensive. Any advice? Thanks everyone!

The FAQ sticky at the top of this forum has information about off-site rentals. A "preferred" vendor will be able to drop-off/pick-up with Bell Services (or luggage services) at the resort, but that doesn't make a "non-preferred" vendor inferior - the recommended ones have a great record of customer service.

Also, ice water is available for free at any quick-service dining location. We carry re-usable water bottles and fill from there. Use flavoring drops/packets if that helps it taste better.

Sorry to hear about your friend's troubles. Hope he is feeling better soon.

We've used both Walkers Moblity several times and Apple Scooters and would highly recommend either. Apple Scooters is on of the WDW preferred providers though, so would be able to just leave the scooter at bell service for you to pick up and then you could just drop it off at bell services on your last day. With Walker's you'd have to arrange to meet them for pick up and drop off. Also Apple was cheaper every time I got quotes from them.

I have used Apple a few times I found them to have great prices and great customer service.
I will be using them again when I go in Nov.
