My trip is almost 2 months away and I realized today after getting worn out shopping for 3 hours that there is no way I am going to be able to handle Disneyland.

My problem is that for the last 3 months I have done basicaly nothing due to sickness in pregnancey. Houseworks, and meals are just about the only thing I have done.

The good news is that I am feeling much better. I am half way there (half way to due date) I do have a gym membership which before my pregnancy I used every day but Sunday. I am not a big walk around the neighborhood girl because of snakes. (yes I know I am a scardie cat)

Any ideas?

DH and I always mallwalk for a few weeks before our trip. I always wear the shoes I'm gonna wear on the trip just so I can make sure they're good enough. During the Spring before a trip, we also do ride our bikes more than normal. We also play a little air hockey - a couple games is a good workout!
I hope you're able to find a way to get ready. The thing to remember is you can always find a place to sit down and rest!!!
Have a wonderful trip!

If you can't bring yourself to the gym, what about getting a treadmill or an exercise bicycle? I know it can get pricey, but you can use them even after you give birth.

What about investing in some WATP tapes? They are low impact and you can find them at Walmart at a good price. Leslie is a good leader, maybe a little to cheerful but you can choose how many miles you want to "walk". If you are not familiar with these tapes do a search on line , collage video, and they will tell you more about them. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the ideas! I actually have a WATP tape. It's been in the back of my mind for a few days now.

What I am really nervous about is just standing for a LONG period of time. Maybe when I am watching my showes at night I should try standing in front of the tv.

Coming from the other side of the coin, as a pregnant mom I don't think now is the time to push it. You can't "build up" to prevent ankle swelling etc. I would remember that now is the time to pace your self , and that includes lots of sitting with your feet up .:D

Drink Water!! When I was pregnant and for that matter when I am not, I always feel less sluggish, have more energy and oddly enough do not get as bloated when I drink a lot of water. Also, use fast pass to avoid long standing and in many of the Fantasyland rides that don't have fast pass you can cut in while hubby and kids do the bulk of the waiting. One of the few perks of being pregnant is nobody will mess with you. Just waddle and look pathetic and people will be nice about it! Have fun, happy gestating!
