Help me get from point A to point B please.

Ok, so we are only weeks away from our first trip and I am stressing about getting to our ressies on time. Can you give me approximate times I need to leave to get from one point to another?


Staying at Pop. Arriving the 28th. Nothing planned....maybe DTD maybe just stay at resort..no idea.

11/29: Chef Mickey's 8:10. So we need to get from Pop to Contemporary. Then it's a MK day all day but we have no time we HAVE to get there.

11/30: Akershus 9:50. So Pop to Epcot. We are doing Epcot all day and then dinner at Coral Reef at 6:55.

12/1: 1900 Park Fare 5:45. This is our AK day so we need to get from there to the Grand Floridian.

12/2: DHS day and we are eating lunch at 11:00 at Sci Fi but we should be able to find this and get there in time.

12/3: We are planning on doing another MK day since it's our last full day but we are eating at Ohana at 8:05 so we will ne to get from MK to Poly.

I don't want to hear how some of my choices were dumb because it is what it is now. I just want to know how much time we may need to get from point A to point B. Thanks!

I always figure an hour travel time. Having said that I always want to get there early. From MK to Poly is a short trip on the Resort Monorail. From AK to GF just take the GF bus and then to return to POP take the monorail to MK and take the POP bus from there. From POP to CR take the bus to MK then walk to CR. Buses should be running well in advance.... the rest just take the POP bus to the park you're going to. Have a great trip.

BTW, your choices are all good ones IMO.

When you are at a park and have to get to a resort for dinner or lunch just take the bus for that resort( ex. AK to GF via bus to GF) If you are at MK and need to get to a monorail resort(Poly) just take the resort monorail and you will be there in a few stops. The early breakfast at CM is a little bit harder. You can take a bus to the MK on that day and walk or monorail to the CR. It really doesn't take very long to walk from the bus stop at MK to the CR. If you are stressing about getting to CM on time you may want to take a cab that drops you off at the CR. Have fun and always remember when taking disney transportation from resort to resort just go to the nearest theme park and make your way from there. There is one exception always use DHS instead of Epcot for Boardwalk area resorts. You have to enter Epcot to access the resort at the Boardwalk area. Have a great trip!

We also go with about an hour time to get from point A to point B, have a GREAT trip

Bus to DTD -- 30-45 minutes, including wait time.

Bus to MK, walk to Contemporary; leave Pop at 7 AM. Walk back to MK or take the monorail.
Alternate: Take a taxi to Contemporary, leave at 7:30 AM, probably about $15 plus tip.

Bus to Epcot, 60 minutes, including wait time.

Bus from AK to GF, 60 minutes, including wait time. For your return to Pop, take monorail to MK and then bus to Pop, about 60-75 minutes.

12/2: DHS day and we are eating lunch at 11:00 at Sci Fi but we should be able to find this and get there in time.
Bus to DHS, about 30-45 minutes, including wait time.

12/3: We are planning on doing another MK day since it's our last full day but we are eating at Ohana at 8:05 so we will ne to get from MK to Poly.
Take monorail or walk from MK to Poly. For your return trip, depending on what time it is, you may not be able to go back to MK to catch the bus to Pop. You can take either 1) the bus to DTD and transfer to bus to Pop, probably 90 minutes minimum, or 2) take a taxi back to Pop, about $15 plus tip, 30 minutes.

I agree with the previous post, I like to be early for my ADRs. But I also wanted to mention that when we stayed at Pop recently, the bus system was terrific! That being said, Epcot and DHS rides are very short (closest to the hotel). MK and AK it does take a while on the bus, plus accounting for waiting for the bus at the resort. If there are a lot of people in line, you might have to wait for 2 buses, so check for any EMHs going on that day to determine if you need extra time.
