Help Me Get Engaged in WDW!!!

Just for your information, they have a special Cinderella Slipper dessert at the castle right now for the 50th. Someone posted a link to the picture of it. It's just like the one from the Grand Floridian, except in chocolate. So you could have the slipper at CRT if you'd like it. VERY romantic!!! (sigh)

Wishes is my favorite too, if you would choose the castle dinner, I'd do it a little before Wishes, so that you could see it right after just in time to top of the proposal. OR

Dinner at the castle, slipper with a romantic note tucked in or a real rose and "I love you" on the plate, finish in time to wander out to the front of the castle for Wishes, where you give her the ring and ask her to marry you.
The whole evening would be so magical!!!

ok as a female my three faves would be..... Infront of the castle during the 'kiss Goodnight" It would be private and VERY romantic~!
Or during Wishes just alot of people. Or on Rock and Roller coaster right before you blast off say will you marry me???? then you will take off then when you get off give her the ring. My FAve though is durring the kiss goodnight

If she's got it in her head that she has to watch Wishes outside, then that's what you should do. She'll know something's up if you don't. I would go down to the old swan boat dock - by the rose garden - off the tomorrowland bridge. There's usually not too many people down there, so it would be semi-private, quiet and you'll have a perfect view of the castle and Wishes.

I would vote for dinner at CRT. I would let them know ahead of time that you are doing it for something special!!

Here are some options. Go into MK early and while you have a CM take a picture of you infront of the castle, pop the question. Or I would do it during Illiminations in Italy.

On one of her favorite rides, find out where the "ride picture" is taken, hold up a sign "will you marry me?" (without her seeing it, of course), and then let her look for the picture at the end of the ride and have the ring ready.

OK, not the most romantic, but pretty cool, and would draw some, but not too much attention.

What about hanging out on Main Street after the park closes. It's amazing how different the park feels when its dark and empty and quiet! No grand fireworks but you could sit on one of those benches and just look at the castle, talking about your day and all the other days you hope to share with her at WDW, then pop the question! We frequently stay later after closing to enjoy the castle and get good pictures with nobody around and I have always thought, what a perfect place/time to propose! Whatever you decide, good luck and congratulations. I am impressed with all your thoughtfulness!

While we were eating at CRT, a couple at the next table got engaged. The staff brought out a dozen red roses and the ring. I cried. However, the food at CRT has slipped lately & you may not have a perfect meal (if she can even taste the food at that point!). If you wanted to make the meal one of your personal traditions, I vote for California Grill.
Best of luck w/ whatever plan you choose. It doesn't have to go perfectly to be a great memory.
DH & I honeymooned at WDW, many, many, many years ago and we (& our sons) remain a truly DISNEY family.
