So we have APR for The Wave at the Contemporary Resort at 7. I am assuming 1-1.5 hr for dinner. We are then thinking about going over to the Poly by monorail to see Electric Water Pageant from the Poly beach. The question is how do I get from the Poly back to POFQ. The latest park open is EP open till 9. (which is when the water pageant begins) The question is can I take the monorail to EP and then a bus back to the resort. Or will the monorail stop running after EP is closed.
The other think I can think of is to take a bus from the Poly to DTD and then take boat of bus from DTD to POFQ.

So the question is how to I get from Poly to POFQ after parks are closed.:confused3

S-L-O-W plan: Take a bus from the Poly to DTD and then take boat of bus from DTD to POFQ.

Fast Plan: Cab to POFQ. (approx. $20, plus tip.)

Are you sure all the parks will be closed? Remember to check for evening extra magic hours. Or a hard ticket party at the Magic Kingdom. If these are going on, you can still use the park's transportation.

Here are the options in descending order, best to worst.

1) Take the monorail or boat to Magic Kingdom and bus to POFQ.
2) Take the monorail to Epcot and bus to POFQ. (The Epcot monorail should stop running an hour after the park closes, same with the buses.)
3) Take a bus to DHS and a bus back to POFQ.
4) Take a bus to Downtown Disney and a bus or boat back to POFQ. (Do this ONLY if you do not have access to another park.)
5) Get a taxi back to POFQ (easiest and fastest by far, but will cost you $$)

Just doubled checked, no EMH on Wed Jan 29. so
MK closes at 8 so I am assuming no buses will be there at 9:30
HS closes at 7 so really not an option
EP closes at 9 so the monerail would still run there at 9:30-9:45 and there would be buses there at 10?

Maybe I will try to see the water parade a night the parks are open later to make moving from Poly to POFQ easier lol Thanks! :)

Why not just watch the water parade from the Contemporary?

I would do a cab. I'm not a fan of multiple transportation options. Your time is worth it!

When you are done at the Polynesian, go down to Valet. Ask them to call you a cab, that you need to get back to POFQ. You may get lucky and have them offer to drive you! If that's the case, be sure to tip heavily, vs a few bucks. When that happens to me, I give them $10!
You may very well end up in a cab, but I've gotten very lucky a few times.

Have you seen the EWP before? I have watched it (it has been at the same time as Wishes) every night this week from the Poly beach as we are staying here. It lasts about 5 minutes. It is neat to see and I love taking the kids in their pjs to watch fireworks and then walk right back inside for bed. I don't think it would be worth it for me to come over just to see it though.
