Help me gain peace of mind with Budget

I had a 15 day SUV rental for $550 for the last 2 weeks in April with Alamo. So I check multiple times a day for rate drops and I see that Budget is now $384 for the same rental. So I grabbed it, but...

I love Alamo's skip the line service. Just get your bags and pick out a car. It doesn't get any easier than that and I have always been willing to pay a little more for that service.

Is Budget's Fast Break service the same as Alamo's?

I signed up with Fast Break last year, but didn't use it. Is this going to be an issue?

Is Budget at MCO any good?

Am I stressing out unnecessarily?

I still haven't canceled my Alamo rental.

I'm going to be a first-time fastbreak user too and want to be able to skip the line. Anyone know how this works? Do you have to go to the counter at the first rental after you sign up for Fastbreak?

I can't comment on the Fastbreak service, but as for Budget as a whole, we have used them several times at MCO and never had any issues. Been very happy with the service and vehicles we rented.

Used budget 2 years ago...we landed at 11am and sat in the aiport waiting on our car getting ready...they eventually gave us one at 5pm.....never again.

I have personally never had and issue with budget or insane long. Lines. Cars have been in good repair. And the auto include spouse for a driver with no extra charge

No one could give me that warm and fuzzy feeling. So I am canceling my Budget Car Rental and will pay the higher price at Alamo.

If you haven't canceled yet, I can say that Fastbreak is very convenient, but I can't remember if you can use it the first rental after you have signed up. With Fastbreak, you skip the line and go to the Fastbreak window in the garage. Also, your spouse is free to drive at no additional cost. Alamo used to have an additional driver free for Insiders, but I think they discontinued this? We have used them the past few years out of TPA and DEN, but not MCO. Easy pick up and drop-off, and brand new vehicles. It's been a while since we've rented out of MCO. HTH.

If you are a Costco member and rent Alamo, you get the free additional driver.

Agreed. Sign up for Fastbreak and go straight to the garage. I always had good experiences with Budget.
