Help me find this man, please

For the past year, I have been using a mobile dog grooming service, and have been thoroughly pleased. We have a Lhasa Apso who is getting up there in years, and it is too hard on her to take her out to a groomers and leave her there all day while we are at work.

When I called last week to make another appointment, I get "this number has been disconnected." I have a business card with his business name, but no last name and only the one phone number. I have cancelled checks that only say For Deposit Only and an account number and the name of the bank.

I was more than pleased with the work he did and what he charged me. I am just finding it so hard to understand how he could just drop off the face of the earth and not even let his clients now.

Anyone have any suggestions on how I might track him down?

Well, probably not what you wanted to hear, but since he did not leave a new number, or let clients know, maybe he does not want to be found or no longer wants to be in the business?

He could have gone bankrupt or he died? Or like the previous poster mentioned, he might not want to be found. Maybe he retired....he's in jail...he moved.
