Yoooo hoooo!! Can you all help me find a quick-service salad in each park?
Magic Kingdom? Anything that grew from the ground that I can eat? That's cold, and fresh(ish)??
EPCOT, I discovered, has a bomb *ss salad at Connections, like legit the best salad I've ever had at Disney. Ever. So I'm good in that park.
Animal Kingdom? Hello vegetables that have not been over-cooked and sauce-covered???
Hollywood Studios? They used to have a hummus platter at Backlot Express, but it's since been removed (and not a salad, but the only healthy option I could find). *editing: I see they have a 'southwest salad' there that looks kinda meh. Like they just threw some toppings on lettuce. Has anyone seen or had it?

I get it, Disney isn't for the health-conscious and by no means am I one of 'those' people (I have 6 food groups in my apartment: Doritos, Kraft mac and cheese, cokes, ramen, Oreos, Cheezits). However, in the parks I need a break from the fried EVERYTHING. I feel legitimately sick after all the park food.

HELP!

Sincerely,
My Colon, Stomach, and other Digestive Organs

I totally understand. I have diverticulitis. I really have to get dark, leafy greens everyday. These are all QS. TS usually has better quality lettuce.

MK: Columbia Harbor House Hail to the Leaf (not too bad), Cosmic Ray’s Greek salad (dark green, possibly spring mix), Pecos Bills Sun Bonnet Trio (can’t remember how dark the lettuce is)

EPCOT: Regal Eagle Power Greens, Sunshine Seasons Power Salad (dark green)

AK: Flame Tree Smokehouse Chicken Salad (mostly iceberg from what I remember), Satu’li hearty salad base, Yak & Yeti Local Foods Teriyaki Chicken salad (can’t remember)

DHS: Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant & lounge Cobb salad, ABC Commissary Mediterranean salad (dark) & arugula and farro salad, Backlot Express Southwest Salad (romaine, worthless), Docking Bay 7 Roasted Endorian Chicken Salad

Disney Springs has a lot of good options. Universal amazingly has some excellent QS salads, including one that’s kale!

@Goldilocks07- Glad you posted this. We are headed to Disney in November and I am trying to eat at least one salad a day so my body doesn’t go into shock since I am very veggie heavy at home.

We aren’t doing many parks, only MK.
MK options I have on my list
* Pecos Bills- Sun Bonnet Salad with chicken/spring mix and strawberries
*Cosmic Rays- has a Greek salad option
*Columbia Harbor House- Hail to the Leaf salad looks good, altogether I’ll probably skip the fried chicken and order a kids salmon meal to have salmon with it

I am also looking forward to trying some of the options at the MK resorts. GFC has the Apple Salad and Poly has a superfood salad.

@soniam- do you recall where you found good salad options at Universal? I struggled on our last trip and pretty much had caesar salad most places.

Leaky Cauldron at Studios has a ploughman’s lunch. It has a salad with copious amounts of spring lettuce mix. It usually comes for 2 people, but you can ask for just 1 person. The other Wizarding World salads are worthless. Today Cafe in studios has several salads. I like the kale with chicken. Plus, their salads come in a container that makes it easy to do take-out if the rest of the group wants to eat elsewhere. Lisa’s Treehouse of Horrors in Fast Food Blvd in Studios has an ok Mediterranean salad. Finnegan’s, which is TS, has a good pistachio crusted salmon salad.

I had a few trips that I called "Salads Around the World" where I tried quick serve salads everywhere.

Not as many choices now as there used to be but still a fun plan. ENJOY! 🥗
Actually that sounds like a really fun plan! My biggest salad regret is that Liberty Tree Tavern, back when you could order from a menu, but not now, had a terrific entree salad. It came with grilled chicken, but I got it without the chicken and enjoyed it even more. Also, that way I had more room for the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake, and since it was cheaper without the chicken, the whole meal, including a cup of tea, cost about $25.
Any other good salads now?

Islands of Adventure, Thunder Falls Terrace in Jurassic Park section.

I've had the Rotisserie Chicken Salad a few times and always good. Each time they have made it fresh right in front of me.

I hear you! DS would get the Burger and I would get the Salad - then we split the dessert!

One trip we were eating at Sci Fi Dine In and I just ordered the appetizer Wedge Salad. HUGE, entree size and very good.
Satu'li Canteen has a greens base for their bowls.
My favorite base! 😋

Don't overlook the Deluxe resort QS.

Gaspy's at the GF has a pretty nice salad--mixed greens with other stuff.

You can get some grain with veggies ones at other resort QS.

These tend to have better quality greens than park QS, I think.

GF Cafe (yes, I know it's TS but usually pretty easy to get into at off-peak times) has a fabulous heirloom apple salad on mixed greens with a delicious vinaigrette. I'd actually go there willingly for nothing but that salad.

These are all great tips! I'm trying to find greens specifically in the parks, just because that is where I struggle the most (as my kid chomps down corn dog nuggets - which by the way, really are amazing).

My biggest issue (specifically with WDW parks) the 'greens' or salads feel like they are always just the leftover burger lettuce and 'fixin's' thrown into a bowl and slapped on the menu. There's no real preparation or thought put into a good entree (or side for that matter) salad.

I love all the choices listed above!
