that I had on my cruise.

One night we had ordered a bottle of Zinfandel and our server recommended another wine she thought we would like instead and boy was she right!

It was called Sel Bach or Zel Bach and it was definitely a reisling wine. I have been asking about it all over town and one liquor store said they could order it if I had the exact name but I don't.

Does anyone have a wine list? This was not the wine "package" just a bottle we ordered one night.

Thanks!

I'm afraid I don't know the wine you're looking for but if my memory serves me right I think Dave from Marietta has copies of the wine packages, something on there may help you out. Good luck, and if you don't know by May 3, I find out on our cruise for you. Happy New Year!

I found their webpage using Yahoo Search

Apparently its a German imported Wine
I recommend you get the info from their US Distributor on how your local Wine store can order you some

Here is that info

Thank you Dave! I just found it on your website too!

The web page for this wine lists about a zillion Selbach Rieslings and my head was spinning trying to figure out which one it was. The one Dave listed was on the wine list for the 4 day cruise so hopefully it is the one I want.

Friends of ours actually bought a bottle to take home so I am going to see if they still have the bottle to compare the names but I have a feeling that is a lost cause.

Hopefully the liquor store can order this for me.

Sonya--

I too very much enjoy the wine you had. In all, I think I bought four bottles on four nights during dinner. It is a relatively inexpensive wine (around $6 at most grocery stores) and is indeed the one that Dave listed.

My suggestion is that you buy a bottle and taste it. You'll probably recognize it. Also, if you really did enjoy the riesling, I would suggest that you try some other varieties. You'll probably be pleasantly pleased! :)
