Help me find a talking/moving trash can!

Ok, laugh all you want, but we went to Disney a year ago and my daughter is still asking about this. We were at The Affection Section at Disney's Amimal Kingdom, and my 5 year old freaked out when she noticed a trash can following her around. When it was leaving she changed her mind and begged it to stay. I looked everywhere and saw no guy around with a backpack. I asked a cast member when it would come back, and they said it wouldnt be around again that day. Others have told me they have seen these "moving/talking" trash cans in Tomorrow Land as well. We are going back and was wondering if there are "others".

Any ideas???

I have only seen a walking talking tree at AK.

In Tommorow Land there is a trash can that walks around. The last time I saw it we were near the Stitch ride. The guy that does the voice always has his finger next to his mouth. It comes off looking pretty natural and is hard to spot.

My DS14 and I always try to figure out who is doing the voice.

In MK - Tomorrowland between the race cars and Buzz Lightyear.
In the public area of the AK Entrance area ...this one had a palm tree on top

That can followed my DS7 around in January...we were right in front of the "raceway" ride by Tomorrowland. It was just about the highlight of his day!! At one point it left when it went in a door by Cosmic Ray's Cafe.

His name is PUSH!

We saw Push last year in Tomorrowland between the bathrooms and the DVC kiosk. I think he moves all around the area. I have a great video of him talking to various people and I'd love to share it but don't know how. If someone would show me how I'd be happy to post it. Your daughter might enjoy a Push refresher.

The talking trash can followed my kids around the building at Rafiki's Planet Watch. They still talk about it!

We found him just outside Star Traders.......my son's "found" the guy though unfortunately but they did not ruin the magic for the littles ones around. Push was hysterical!!

Here's a picture from last Nov. of the guy operating PUSH in Tomorrowland. He's the one in the dark shirt and cap with his hand by his mouth. I didn't see him when I was there! My mother took the picture and he was standing close to us, but we were oblivious because we were enjoying PUSH's antics so much!

We seen him in Tomorrowland. My kids thought he was hilarious. He was right by the bathroom that is near the stitch bush.

Yes, we saw PUSH several times at Tomorrowland and thanks to this board I knew what it was! Otherwise I probably would have just strolled right on by!

The first time we encountered him, it was just me and Luke (the 2 year old) as my older kids were getting autographs with DH and I went to go get FP for Buzz. As I was going back, I noticed the trashcan talking, stopped and watched for a few minutes since he was talking to a couple other little boys. Figure DH would get mad at me for dawdling and Luke was in the stroller not really overly thrilled. We went to leave and PUSH said "Bye Luke" (we had Guest of Honor badges on - so the guy must have been close enough to read Luke's. I had no idea where he was at - to me PUSH was a character, so I was just enjoying it.)

Later that day apparently my older son Aaron had a run-in with him because he was beside himself telling me that this trashcan said "Aaron can you open that door for me?" He couldn't wait to meet him again.

After we did our Family Magic Tour, we were over that way again and so we all stopped and said Hello to PUSH. PUSH remembered Aaron (or Aaron told him - I can't remember which one)...being the jokester that PUSH is - he asked when we were leaving, Aaron answered "Tomorrow" and PUSH told us we had to go home NOW because we were in Tomorrowland. Then he told us, we could go ahead and stay.

Thank you so much for all your great reports about this moving trash can. Im scared to think that I will be spending half of my day in Magic and Animal Kingdom looking for these cans! Apparently in Magic Kingdom his home is in Cosmic Rays until he goes out and plays in the crowd. In Animal Kingdom he is kept in the back of Affection Section where we saw him. I hope to find out "Push's" schedule so I can be there if hes ever around. I cant believe that there are guys that actually have a job of doing this! Go figure!!
