Help Me Find a Land-Line Phone Plan

Looking for a land-line phone plan -

1. it can not require a modem
2. mostly local calls
3. a few long-distance (within the US) calls a month
4. never need international calling

I looked at AT&T and Verizon.

What else is out there????????

Land line phone service is regional specific. Without knowing where you live, it's going to be difficult for anyone to answer...

I use Pioneer Telephone for my long distance and it is really inexpensive. Usually around 4-6.00 a month.
