Help Me Find a Good Dentist in Atlanta, GA

Hello All,

I know that I have seen people from Atlanta/Alpharetta, etc. posting on DIS before and I hope some of you are on the Community Board so you can help me out!

I really really need to find a new dentist! My last one was very disinterested in helping me when I had a problem with a cap fitting incorrectly. I am having new problems with the same tooth and really want a second opinion. However I hate just going in blind. Do any of you have a dentist to recommend to me? Someone who knows what they are doing and is friendly?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

We use Nanston dental group, they have clinics in Atlanta, Alpharetta, Lawrenceville, Marietta, Roswell, etc.

Dr. Joseph Looper Briarcliff Road, Atlanta GA.

I went to the same dentist since I was three years old - that was Joe Senior, his son (the one listed above) graduated from dental school about 15 -20 years ago. He is very good too (gentle) and the practice is small so when you have an issue or problem, they fix it. Joe Jr. has even voluntered to come into the office on a Sunday when I had a tooth that was hurting. I drive an hour to still visit this dentist when I need one.

who really knows is a dentist is good or bad, your best bet is to just go with a sexy one

Dr. Looper sounds like a great guy, I hope he's on my dental plan!

Anyone else have any suggestions in the interests of finding at least one who is on my plan?
