Help me find a cheap version of this jacket

One thing on my kid's Christmas list is a "black snowboard jacket". Specifically he means a jacket that has the little extra part to cover your butt when you sit down and fasten into your bindings. Like this one:

There is, however, no way I'm paying $250 + for a winter coat that, at the rate he's growing right now, will likely last one season.

Anyone have any ideas where to look for cheap ones? Someone has to make knockoffs right?

Define "cheep". Columbia has an entire line of board jackets that are about half that price-especially if you can find them at Kohl's or JC Penney on sale (and then they are 1/3rd of the price). Many of the stores like Target, etc. have board style jackets for $50 or so-but then you get what you pay for too.

As far as "how cheap is cheap?". He really wants it so if I have to pay $100 I will, but we're far enough South that the season is short, and I have a kid who will probably hit his growth spurt pretty soon. He's gone up about 4 shoes sizes since school starts, and people tell me that's how it starts. So, I'd rather buy a cheap one even if it doesn't last forever.
