I am also wondering what your evening plans are. I can't imagine a Disney vacation with only a half day at Epcot - our favorite park. I agree with the suggestion to spend the evening in Epcot
I would eat at either Biergarden or Via Napoli. I think your children would enjoy either

If it was just me and my hubby we would spend our entire trip at Epcot eating and drinking. Our kiddos weren't too thrilled with everything it offered. But I think we should go back for a second night to eat dinner. And watch the show. Thanks!!!

I know you said your kids weren't super into character meals, but would you consider 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian? It's a buffet, and Cinderella, the prince, the stepsisters and step mom are all in attendance. Cinderella and the prince dance, the stepsisters bicker-- we think it's a lot of fun.

I think it sounds fun. We just need to convience my son!

The food is good, and the stepsisters and stepmother are hysterical. They bicker about who is prettier and any other petty little thing they can come up with.

We were there one time, and some small kid was crying. Stepmother stands there, folds her arms, looks at the poor kid from way up high, and says in the most imperious voice I've ever heard: "WHY are you crying??? There is no crying in Disney World."

And the kid stopped.

We are between these.

Teppan Edo- we love Japanese.
Coral reef - atmosphere.
Garden grill - for Chip n Dale.
1900 - for the stepsisters.

Any thoughts on the food? One vs the other?

I guess it really comes down to heading to Epcot for the evening or 1900 for a fun experience. I'm leaning towards staying at Epcot. We decided to skip Fort Wilderness since we are going to be in the area for a few hours before our hoop Dee doo reso. Thanks for your help.

Your chip and dale one makes me laugh. Before my husband and I had kids, we went and chip and dale kept coming around. The first time was great. Second time was also good, but getting a little awkward. Then the third time, we just waved them on said, we're good. So I think you definetly get your time with the characters there, lol.
BTW, the food was really good.
