Well, I made reservations for BBB & Ariel's Princess Lunch for my dd & ds, but now I'm thinking we need to change up our schedule for our all things princess day. I need help figuring out how to fit it all in since hours are limited for princess things!
Here's what we want to do that day:
BBB - Coach & Prince package (no pics)
Ariel's Princess Lunch - options are 11:30am, 1pm, 2:20pm, or 3:40pm
Tangled Rapunzel Meet & Greet
PFF *only* Royal Coronation (10, 11:15, 12:30, 2:30, 3:30) and Storytelling right before or after (10:45, 12, 1, 4:30)
We also planned to do some Fantasyland rides in the am (& most likely some in the evening after princess stuff is all closed)
And here's the biggest problem... We will going back for nap (typically around 1 or 2, for 2 hours but I can move nap around a bit with what we're doing)
HELLLLLPPPPP!!!!! :)

Do you have BBB set up yet? What is the time? I think that dictate your schedule a bit. I think the most time sensitive is the Rapunzel Meet and Greet. I would get there first thing because it is a 90 minute wait most everytime I check Mouse Wait on my iPhone.

Well I do have a ressie, but I just called and there are lot of other times open that I can do it. SO, I'm just looking for some help of what order/times to do everything so I can fit it all in! Makes it hard that all the princess stuff essentially ends around 4 PLUS I have a ds who is especially going to need a nap! Anyone????

I am doing the same thing with my DD. This is what I am doing:

Make BBB early 9:00 or 9:30

Lunch @ Ariel's Grotto 11:30, lunch is about 90 minutes.

I did it this way so she will be dressed up for the lunch with Ariel, and she can enjoy her costume & hair all day.

Or you could push it a bit later and do the BBB at 10:30, lunch at 1:00, this way you could try to do the Meet & Greet with Rapunzel as soon as it opens, which I think is 9:00.

Naps I can't really help with, my DD doesn't really nap and my youngest DS usually will just nap in his stroller.

How 'bout sending the guys back for a nap while you and DD spend some girls only time together ...

What I would of done is:
BBB at opening (I have one for 8:10)
The I would try for the PFF stuff
Lunch (I'd do the 1pm)
Then do Tangled & tink if you want :)

then blow out the evening with fantasyland rides and Fireworks :)

Just remember that Ariel's in in DCA and make for planning..

All really great thoughts/ideas! Thank you!
I know we definitely want to do BBB before we do any of the princess stuff. I was trying to leave some prime fantasyland ride time in the morning, but maybe I should shorten that up to maybe an hour and half & then do BBB around 9:45? Wdyt?
Then I guess the question is, so we try to do Tangled & PFF Royal Coronation BEFORE or AFTER Ariel's lunch???? What do u guys think?

I am also curious what others say, as I, too, had hoped to do some FL rides, then BBB, then lunch at Ariel's Grotto. I was hoping 1.5 hours was enough time for BBB, especially on a Friday in Sept. We also need naps so I figured Tangled and PFF would be after nap. I also need to figure out what to do with our 2 year old while the 5 year old does BBB. Maybe I have DH take her to Toontown? Dptabrown: what will your little one be doing while big sister is at BBB?

BBB is about 90 mins tops..

will the girls still look cute for photos after a nap? Otherwise I would do BBB right away and then do the meet and greets then naps.
Please don't take this wrong but the BBB is $$$ and they look so adorable :) If your kids are like mine, they go down looking adorable and wake up looking like Medusa's.

As for DD-2.. You can do either. I mean does DH want to see his princess transform? Last time we just held the 2 year old or played outside the back door while our then 5 year old got all dolled up :) I had daddy do toontown while we did the wait. He joined us for the meeting of the princesses (the other kids didn't line hop to take up any more time from the kids behind us) DH just had the camera, and we wanted pics of the littles in toontown -and- pics of the big one with the ladies :)

We did BBB WITH "reservation" in April in a medium busy spring break week (not the worst week)

Even with the reservation, we waited 45 minutes past appointment time to get in and the makeover (which was great!!) took about another hour (that was JUST hair and makeup since they were out of fingernail polish).

So I would allow a good sized break between the two - maybe do a ride or walk through Sleeping Beauty's castle? Or visit the Snow White Wishing Well? On the way over to Ariel's - consider your travel time, too.

Wow, I thought I had lots of time to do BBB then lunch at 11:40, maybe not,

Hopefully I can push lunch till 1:00

What is this Royal Coronation? I gotta go check it out now.:goodvibes

I don't think they do the royal coronation anymore. And if they still do storytelling, they don't do it at the PFF (they haven't done either in over a year, last time I checked).

If you don't mind missing the afternoon (4 p.m.) parade, the lines for both the fairies and Rapunzel are likely to hit their lowest afternoon wait times at that time.

I've done BBB in the morning with my two daughters and then Lunch at Ariel's Grotto right afterwards. They are newly transformed into princesses and feeling so special and couldn't wait to be with the princesses at the Grotto. Then I would fit in all the other stuff. Don't forget that The Little Mermaid ride is right near the Grotto and would be a fun after lunch princess ride! I would definitely do photos before naptime, however.

Ok, here's what we've decided! Let's HOPE BBB doesn't take FOREVER! ;)
8:00 Fantasy Land Rides
9:40 BBB
11:00 Tangled Meet & Greet
1:00 Ariel's Lunch
3:30 Royal Coronation
4:30 Storytelling
(ds will go back for nap with dh after lunch)

Yes, they are doing the Royal Coronation and Story Telling at PFF now. I think it started back up a few months ago. ;) If you call Disneyland they'll give you the schedule. :)

Nice to find this post..
We plan on doing something similar for our trip in October.. Go to BBB and do all the princess things along with lunch at Ariel's. What time does BBB open up in the fall time?
