Help me figure out my morning strategy for Ariel/WOC/Soarin/TSMM

Since all the construction walls are up blocking the way from the park entrance to Bugs Land, and because LMAUA is open early at 9AM, they have been holding rope drop at the bridge before Ariel's Grotto right out in front of the LMAUA ride entrance.

HTH :wizard:

This is where my DH lined up for rope drop - it's not right out front of LMAUA but at the beginning of the bridge - but in that same general area. He said that the CMs walked that line down to TSMM; however, the other line came down without any CMs and some of those people were running. I've heard in the past that CMs walk the line down, but I have never seen that before until the other day. I guess it's not very consistent how things work. Maybe try being at the front of the line for rope drop on the bridge and see how that goes this time?

Wow it got it down pact!
Did you get to rest or swim in the afternoon? or spent the whole day in the parks??:surfweb:

We have left the parks by lunchtime each day. Take a break for lunch, rest (or swim) and back in the early evening. Unfortunately our kids haven't yet been able to make it through WOC or fireworks without falling asleep. :)

The current rope drop for TSMM at the bridge is maybe a 15 second walk from the entrance of LMAUA. If the PP goes to LMAUA they will automatically see the rope drop spot for TSMM. Hope that clairifies further! :)

HG is right, and I didn't mean to be hypertechnical! :)

I think disneybride meant is there a thread for early morning at DLR as opposed to DCA?
Oh she must have meant Disneyland (the park). DCA is at DLR (Disneyland Resort). I thought she was on the wrong forum.

In which case early morning at DL really depends on whether or not it is a Magic Morning and whether or not you want to visit Fantasyland and whether or not one plans to arrive at the gates early or not.

So I guess the questions back to the PP are those. What are your priorities? What day of the week is it? If a Magic Morning will you have MM entrance that day? Will you arrive early or not?

I'd love to know the answer to the question too especially since it's no longer peak season and I would like to know what's the best strategy.

I'm going to the resort from Sept 14-17, with Sept 15, Thurs, being our MM day. Star Tours is definitely a priority, as well as Dumbo, and PP. SM isn't open yet b/c of overlay and we're planning to arrive at 8:30 (MM is at 9) unless you think that's too early/late. We're also very commando when we go to DLR, so we'll be up early all mornings.
