Help Me Explain This To My Husband

Tigger & Belle,

Yes, I go to WDW completely by myself, usually for 6 nights.
I always have a great time. I have gradually found ways to be more out-going. I force myself to gab with people whenever I'm in a line for an attraction, and ALWAYS I was glad that I forced myself to be more out-going.

But the past 2 December vacations, I had set up a meeting with other solo DIS women who were about my age. We e-mailed ( PM'd)
for a few months to get to know each other, first. By the time we met we felt like we were good friends.
We only met for breakfast, and we talked for quite a while. But because we all actually enjoyed the parks solo, we did not hang around with each other all day. We each went our own way. For me, it all worked out perfectly !

Who just cannot fathom why anyone without children would want to go to Disney World. I need some ammo here, as I would really love to go just he and I one day!

:earsgirl: + :earsboy: =:teeth:

As I mentioned in one of my post somewhere on the board. Disney should not be seen solely as the destination, but moreso as a vehicle to achieve togetherness and happiness of the trip.

Cryptic enough for you yet? :teeth:

I might even get the GF!!!!
:teeth: It's worth a try!

You might even get a cruise thrown in for good measure!!!

My dbf doesn't care about golf but sex and food.....well that definitely works....lol:earseek:

Mine doesn't care about golf, either, but food is good. And all the exercise walking around the parks so we can eat AND not gain weight.

Claudia, that sounds like fun. I have no problem gabbing with people, that is for sure. As far as I'm concerned that is one of the most fun parts of being in the parks--chatting with people I wouldn't have ever come in contact with otherwise.

I have no doubt that my husband will tire of WDW before I will. Or at the very least not want to go as often. Actually, that's already happened. Other than my children and one of my sisters I don't have a lot of people waiting in the wings to go with me, so I may one day also become a solo traveler.
