Help me eliminate a restaurant please :)

LOL Sept Baby - you are right, that's my Nathan. Bionic baby!!!

Ok, so I did change Le Cellier to Tuesday night (our first full day in Disney), put 1900 Park Fare for Thursday (to enjoy Spectro & Wishes), and moved Boma to Saturday. We were looking forward to seeing the AKL and the viewing points for the animals.

I am on the DDP, but wanted to ask the question without bias of which is a "better value" for the plan. Which is why I asked it on this board and left that fact out.

So for our arrival night, we have a choice of Olivias of Wolfgang Puck Cafe (out of pocket) - or maybe neither. LOL.

Any other recs and thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Of the ones you listed, I'd axe Olivia's. It was okay if we are staying over at OKW, but not anything special. FWIW, when we do an out-of-pocket meal, we usually go to Beaches and Cream, or we will pay oop for a buffet (like Boma) and use the DDP for the other TS meals.

Enjoy!

Two points:

1. Don't cancel anything until you arrive, things can change while you are there (sick, too full, too tired) and you end up skipping a TS meal.

2. If you use all of those ADRs try to pay OOP later in the trip. If you pay up front AND cancel something later, you've wasted a credit. You will not be able to get that OOP money back.

I'd say get rid of Boma. I thought it was way over rated and expensive but others here say keep it.

I agree about not cancelling till you get there. We had some friends that did this a couple of weeks ago. They were in a park and just couldn't get to their reservation, so they cancelled that day and kept their adr for the last day. I really wouldn't pay OOP for anything. You are going to have plenty of food. There are some neat places in Epcot to use your counter service and I've read that the counter service Wolfgang Puck Express is really good, so if you are wanting something at Downtown Disney try this. We had planned to do that when we were down a couple weeks ago, but just never had time to get to Downtown. We loved Coral Reef and 1900 Park Fare was good, it's not my favorite character meal, but if your little one likes Cinderella they'll love it!

I'd ditch either Coral Reef or probably LeCellier. Boma is amazing (and I typically hate buffets) and Wolfgang's is great.

I think all of your ADR's are good, I have never gone to Olivia's so I can not comment about about that. I think you should cancel 1900 Park Fare, the food is so-so. You should consider Crystal Palace they have much better food. They have Winnie the pooh and friends, it is a great place to eat.

We are doing CP for breakfast; we needed a decent dinner near MK so I figured 1900 PF was worth a shot.

I need a place that opens around 4 or 4:30 p.m. for dinner so we have plenty of time to eat and then go to Spectromagic. I don't really want Tgiving dinner at LTT.

We have stayed at OKW on 2 occassion and we did not really like Olivia's. It was much more fun to venture downtown and eat at Wolfgang or Planet Hollywood.

Olivia's is convenient if staying at OKW, but other than that it is not worth a special trip.

Love....Le Cellier...it is a must for us each trip. Going again in February.

I'd ditch Boma. I ate there my last trip (Sept) and just could not figure out what all the hype was. I found the food lukewarm and blah. I am not an adventurous eater by any stretch but I just was not impressed. DO not NOT cancel Le Cellier.... there is a reason why you can never get an ADR there. The food is by far the best I have had in WDW. (no I have not eaten at Narcosses or any of the 2 credit places) but Le Cellier is YUMMO! :goodvibes

Good Luck!:goodvibes
