ok, its almost 60 days and time to start thinking about ADR. The plan so far is
Rainforest June 28
Blue Bayou Fantasmic package June 29

I just need somewhere new for June 30

I've been to The Plaza, Village Haus, Earl of Sandwich, Big Thunder Cook Out BBQ, the Pizza place in Tommorowland and Flos in Cars Land. Ideally looking for a quick service but also open to table service around the same price range as Rainforest Cafe. If its not on ADR thats ok, all suggestions welcome :)

Inside Golden Horseshoe is kinda fun. I think it's one of those places that a lot of people don't notice. Also Cafe Orleans, it's pricier than QS but you could easily split a Monte Cristo and end up paying around the same, plus it's delicious! I also like French Market, the french dip was pretty tasty.

Flo's has changed some things on their menu, so you could look there to see if it would be new enough. River Belle Terrace now offers TS dinner, but it's a 3 course Fantasmic package. If the menu and price work for you, you could always pixie dust the FPs to another group. Are you open to going to Anaheim GardenWalk? There are lots of chains in the RFC price range there.

Are you open to eating at one of the Disney hotels? How about Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel? It's quick service and often not too crowded. They have some interesting menu items (for example, I once had a sandwich with a Panko-encrusted chicken breast, tamarind BBQ sauce and green papaya slaw).

Or, how about Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney (which a lot of people rave about), or the Jazz Kitchen Express window?

thanks I will check out Golden Horseshoe and French Market. Cafe Orleans menu is almost the same as Blue Bayou so maybe thats onje for next year

I didn't know Flos has changed the menu, will check out the new menu, thanks :) We are doing the Fantasmic package at Blue Bayou this year, I'll put River Belle Terrace on the list for next year. My time at Disney is so short I kinda want to stay onsite, if I have time on my last day when I don't have a park ticket I will check out Anaheim Garden walk :)

oooh now thats an idea, hadn't thought about the hotels :) I will have a look at the menu at Tangaroa Terrace, also would be an excuse to have a nosy around the Disneyland Hotel, a place I haven't been to yet :) I will have a look at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney too, thanks :)

I love White Water Snacks at the Grand Californian Hotel. The nachos are very good! I also love Hungry Bear back by Splash Mountain and its a nice quiet place to sit and relax while you eat.

They have sandwiches and really good chips at Jolly Holiday. If you get there early enough before the parade, you can watch the parade from your table. People will be walking by, but the CMs keep them moving, so no one will be stopping right in front of you.

I also really enjoyed Tangaroa Terrace at DLH - their shrimp tacos are great!

In Disneyland park, how about Carnation Cafe? We like Wine Country Trattoria at CA. In DTD we like Jazz Kitchen. And at Gardenwalk we always love Bubba Gump and Cheesecake Factory. Also, on Harbor Blvd. Mimi's also has some good food. Besides Blue Bayou and Rainforest, those are our "go-tos" for most of our trips. Apparently we like table service better than quick service.

For strictly quick service we have tried pretty much all of them with no huge stand outs. We usually do just as well to grab a corn dog or bowl of clam chowder. I am thinking we might try Village Haus or Rancho del Zocalo on our next trip in May since we have been to neither of those in a really long time. And, Flo's in CA is fairly descent.

In DCA at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta they have a Chicken sun-dried tomato pasta. My husband and I got a plate to share and ended up having to share with the kids, delicious!!!

We love the pasta at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta! In DL we love the Harbor Galley for a stuffed baked potato or soup in a bread bowl. Yum! Pacific Warf cafe is good also.

Not sure which park you want to eat the meal in, so... Others above have made some of my suggestions, but Carnation Cafe is great for a TS meal that is not much more than a CS. Plus I love sitting outside there and looking at Main Street. Also, we LOVE the nachos at White Water, very quiet, I've never seen it busy, great place to relax. We also love the Golden Horsehoe, but don't know if you're looking for lunch or dinner. I love their fish & chips. It's fun to go there when a show is going on. The new show is cute, but certainly no Billy Hill & the Hillbillies. We also tried the Wine Country Trattoria last trip for the first time. I've seen a lot of people say they don't like it, but it is now on our must do list. Sitting outside with a great view of the park is magical, and we really liked the food. Athough, like a lot of outdoor eating places, I guess it could vary if it is too hot or too cold.

Another vote for Tangeroa Terrace! Hop on the monorail rail to save some walking. We love the outside patio and you can order off bother the TT and Trader Sam menu. Tiki torches are beautiful at night and the pool area is so pretty!

If you like Mexican food at all I would suggest eating at Rancho del Zocalo (next to Big Thunder Mountain RR). It is QS cafeteria style, and their seating area is really quite nice, especially in the evenings when the sun has gone down and the pretty lights are on. I usually get the enchiladas. I think most of their plates come with rice and beans, yum. I enjoy sitting by the little water fountain or by Big Thunder, so you can watch people come in at the end of the track. It's a nice get away from the crowds for a little while.

wow you guys are amazing, thanks for all the suggestions... now I'm thinking I need a spreadsheet, this is turning into eat my way Disneyland :)

It's not fancy... but we really LOVE Hungry Bear. We love the food and we love the chill atmosphere sitting besides Rivers of America, watching the Mark Twain go by :)

I second the Hungry Bear. Another place if you want mexican food is Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill over in DCA. It's a counter service place with good food.
