Which is easier?

It depends on how many people you have to push and how often you think the 3yr old will ride/walk. What about one of the sit/stands that are available or the attachments "buggy boards" for him to ride on?? 2 strollers seems like a pain to me but my kids are also older.

Scoootch,

We did the two strollers last trip and it was wonderful. When my 3 year old didnt want to ride we folded up the unbrella storller and put it in the basket of the other stroller. I would never take my double stroller to Disney. In my opnion its just too big and its hard for the child sitting in the back seat to see as much. When we go again this November we are taking two strollers again! I think it comes down to what you are comfortable with!

I like the graco duo glider. What I do is take the cup holder off the front. That way you only have to pick the baby up and the three year old can get in and out as he pleases. You can always put it back on for snack time or whatever, but I use this stroller all the time for my 21/2 and my 10 month old. I think that is the way to go.

Well, went just over to Walmart yesterday and tried out both the double stroller they had to see how well ds is fitting into it and had him also sit in the umbrella stroller. I'm still undecided. Leanning more tword the duo-glider as ds did not like the umbrella stroller at all (Just my luck since the umbrella one of course would be the less expensive route:rolleyes: ). I don't really care for the sit and stand stroller as I need to have a stroller that I can actually make him sit in at times. He's liking to walk more &more but there are times when we need him in the stoller -- like if we're in a hurry and need to walk faster (he's just not able to do that with his little legs yet;) ) or for those lovely cranky times of day when we just need for him to be in the stroller rather than chasing him because he's unwilling to hold a hand:rolleyes:

Taking the tray off the front seems like a really good idea. That seems to be where the fit is getting smallest and at least I can recline his seat back a little bit if he's tired enough to take a cat nap. I'm not worried in the least about the hair pulling that's been mentioned, lol :p since by the time the new baby is old enough for that, ds should be completely out of the stroller by then.

Keep the suggestions and opinions coming though. I haven't completely decided yet:D

It depends if you are taking disney transportation, cause the double stroller will be a pain to get on and off the bus if you are going during peak season.

We live here in Fla. (that's why I know I need a stroller still for ds one way or the other - we go to WDW often) and always have our own car. So transportation really isn't much of an issue;)

I don't know what your budget is, but there's a Combi double stroller that's great and a Peg Perego--although that's even more expensive. I have the Graco single, but the Graco double was too big for our trunk, so we had to "upgrade." The Graco tends to be more bulky than some of the premium brands. You won't have to worry about putting on the bus, but will you use the tram from the parking lot?

We have a mini-van so fitting the stroller won't be a problem, we sometimes take Disney transportataion but usually try to avoid the buses just because of having to fold the stroller (and that's with the single one we have) As far as the trams, we usually just walk to the gate instead (we tend to try and go to the parks at the less busy times so the walk isn't usually that bad)

My biggest concern really is that I'm afraid of spending the extra money on the double stroller if my 3 yr old is going to out grow it and not fit into it :(

We took 4.5 yr DD, and 12 month DS in Jan to WDW. We brought his normal Graco stroller from home, and rented one for her in the parks (We also used the rentals for our WDW trip when she was 3). Assuming you have at least two adults going, it helped to have two strollers. There were many time when she wanted to do a ride where the baby couldn't go on. One parent took her to the ride, and the other sat, pushed the baby around. Most of the time, one of us took the baby back to the room early, and the extra stroller allowed her to keep going strong with the lucky parent left behind. This is just me, but I find it a lot easier to push the rental strollers, than an umbrella.

My DS 4 is 45 pounds and still fits in the Graco double stroller. We have not used the front cup holder thing for at least a year now. It works really well that way because he can get in and out. We took it to Disney and it worked really well. There were at least two times when either my DH or myself were with the kids by ourselves. I would not have wanted two strollers then. The other positive is you can fit so much stuff under it. The only negative is getting it on and off the buses, but lucky for me, my DH always did it!
