50's is one of our family traditions. Each experience is different depending on your waiter. We had a great one last time who made my 50 something dad put brownie on his nose and stand in a corner of shame for talking back and wanting desert instead of dinner. Definitely have made excellent memories over the years and the pot roast and fried chicken are my favorites. Sci Fi is great too but we took someone who was too afraid of the movies being projected to eat... Just make sure it's right for your family. Both places are great options! Have fun!

The atmosphere of Sci Fi is really cool and your daughters would love it. I have not had the best food experiences there. I was at 50's Prime time in January and the food was very good
