Help me decide...

My wife and I are going to be making our first trip to WDW with just the two of us since our honeymoon 10 years ago. Since then we have had 3 sons (the first was a honeymoon baby) and many great trips to many different resorts, but this summer the boys are going to stay with their grandparents for a week (the first time with no kids in the house as the smallest is now able to go for the week), and the only place my wife wants to go is to WDW with just the two of us.

We typically stay in 2BR with all of the kids. Does anyone have any recommendations on a studio for a parents only trip?

We have stayed at OKW, SSR, AKV, BCV, and enjoyed all. I am curious what the opinions of the boards are on this topic.

We like to stay at an Epcot resort as we love wandering the countries and the boardwalk is also fun-we prefer timing it for food and wine. SSR is our favorite resort just wish I could put it walking distance to Epcot, did I mention how much we love Epcot!?!?

Enjoy your trip and I don't think you could go wrong at any resort. The thing that surprised us when we go with no kids is how easy it is to get around. Without the stress of kids getting around Disney is so easy and actually fun to sit back and people watch.

If swimming weather, I choose BCV....otherwise VGF! DH & I just returned from VGF, it's such a classy resort!

We are empty nesters now, so most trips are just DH and I. When we purchased we opted to buy at BCV because for adult trips we love being in the Epcot Resort area. There is so much to do. YOu have all of the restaurants of the YC/BC, Boardwalk and the Swan and Dolphin right there, and the restaurants of WS are a short stroll away. There is lots to do in the evening as well.
Epcot is our favorite park and we usually end 5 of a 7 day trip there in the evening.
We love BCV, but we have also stayed in the Boardwalk Villas and loved them as well. I think the walk to Epcot is a bit longer from the BWV, but it is definitely closer to DHS.
