We are going to Disney in Feb for a week at the boardwalk then a week at BLT then finishing off we a 3 night cruise on the Dream.

We are however considering swopping the cruise for a 3 night stay at Portifino universal. The day we are due to sail is my DD 3rd birthday and we are thinking she could go to BBB and crt on her birthday rather than the day before. The only thing about the cruise that excites me is castaway Cay!

I am very excited about the thought of WWOHP and the FOLT! What should we do!

It sounds like your not as excited for the cruise? If so go with Portofino!:thumbsup2

I am worried that the 3 day cruise will feel rushed if that makes sense! And I an a bit concerned the kids are too young to enjoy it, they will be 3 and 5

I am opposite to other replies, stick with the cruise and try it.
Before our 1st cruise we were not sure, didn't like the idea at all, not even Castaway Cay (I don't like the beach or swimming in saltwater)
We found out we prefer Disney cruising to the parks, have 6th booked for next year.
We have 3 nights booked at RPR next month to try that, not something I am too bothered about doing but we got a reasonable rate and trying it, just can't possibly imagine those 3 nights can compare to Disney cruise.
On the other hand if its something you want to do then save the cruise for another trip when they are a little older (and do 4 night cruise, I never advise 3 night as its really only 2 days)

Is it your first cruise? I agree that it might be better to wait until your children are a little older, so they can appreciate it more.

I'm with Wayne on this one, I would stick with the cruise. We have our first Disney cruise booked next year and It's all I can think about!

What better way to celebrate your DD's 3rd birthday than the sail away party onboard the Disney Dream?!

If you do decide to stay at PBH instead then you won't be disappointed either, its a beautiful resort and the FOTL perk is excellent!

Thanks everyone, I know the sail away party would be a great way to celebrate my DDs birthday too!

Another thing that concerns me about the cruise is the weather I am worried it will be freezing!
