So I’ve got two options now and I have to decide in the next few days. My hubby’s got two conference in Orlando he has to go to, and I’ll be tagging along on one of them and doing the parks solo. The dates are a little flexible, we may go a couple days before, or stay a couple days after in either case.

The first option is go to May 17-23, the conference is at the Omni Resort at Champions Gate, they have a free shuttle to the parks, its about 13 miles or so. It’s a very nice hotel, although we’re not even sure we’ll be staying there, but we will be very close to it, in any case.

The second option is to go May 31- June 4, the conference is either at the Dolphin or the Swan and we’d be staying at either of those.

So there are obvious advantages to choosing the second one, since we’d be in the park, but the advantages to the first option is the Flower and Garden show will still be going on and I believe that week is considered less busy.

Any thoughts?

It is always a huge plus to stay in the Epcot resorts area. But it is a slight bit slower earlier in May and there is a HUGE Dismeet going on if you come a few days earlier! LOL

Just a thought :goodvibes

Nevermind, the May convention was unexpectedly cancelled this morning, :sad1: Stupid economy. Still awaiting word on the June one, not holding my breath.
