Help me decide which AP

Looks like D-day has arrived. I need to decide today or tomorrow. I wish this was happening later in the month, but I will need to choose now or risk spending more money.

Does anyone know if I can sign up for a monthly payment plan on the pass now and then pay it off early with Disney gift cards?

I think yes. You can do the monthly payment plan and pay off early at any time, so I'm guessing you could use Disney gift cards to make the final payment.

Or somehow pay the monthly payments with gift cards?

I think no on this one. It's supposed to be hooked up to a credit or debit card for monthly billing.

Yes to the first. You can apply extra payments at anytime to a monthly and use gift cards.

You have to use a credit or debit card to set it up. It’s automatic payments.

My humble opinion is to get your son the deluxe and you the signature. I don't know how close you are to the parks, but, if you are close enough to go, go as much as you can now, because, they grow up so fast and, you do not know what tomorrow will bring. Enjoy this time in the parks, taking pictures, putting together scrapbooks with him. Those memories will be priceless. I kid you not, you blink, and they (kids) get older. If I was in your position, I would be at Disneyland right now, taking a couple of selfies with my kids and then posting on the boards showing what I decided! LOL

I am trying to renew my AP right now online and it won't go through. I keep getting an error message: Sorry, but we are unable to complete your purchase online at this time. Please call (714) 520-5060 for assistance, or try again later. Ugh, I really hope I can get this to go through before midnight when the prices are rumored to go up.

Never mind, I logged out and started over and was able to get it to go through. I also bought my son a ticket via LMT.

Final verdict: Signature for me and planning on getting a SoCal Select for him (I'll do that at the end of the this month when my old AP expires).

Glad you were able to get through finally! Sometimes just logging out and back in does help. Also clearing cookies and what not.

I imagine their servers might be more than a little slammed today because of the increase rumors.
