Help me decide when to go

DH and I are trying to decide when to go to WDW this year, we didn't go last year For the last few years we have gone for F&W, we absolutely love it and always have a lot of fun, especially since we have friends in the area. However I have been getting the urge to go for later in the year to see all of the christmas stuff, especially the castle! I wanted to go the first week in Nov so that we could expereince both but unfortunatly do to work I can't. Soooo would you go Oct 22-28 for F&W or would you go right after Thanksgiving the 26th-5th??

We go after Thanksgiving every year and I highly recommend it.

Since we recently don't need to follow a school schedule anymore, we decided to give F & W a try and love this time of year and the whole F & W/concert experience/weather, etc. We have also always wanted to experience Disney once during Christmas - more for the decorations than rides/parks. Since my son is getting married this September and we have two more family parties in early November we decided this will be the year to experience Christmas before going back to F & W. We booked early Dec.

Good luck and have fun. I just hope it won't be too cold :O

Not sure if you care where you stay if you go early Dec but availability could and is limited. I have been beginning of Dec, it was great! Loved the decorations and lower crowds. I also have not experienced F&W and are hoping in 2014 is the year for that when last DD will be in college. Good luck

Thanksgiving. See the lights in Epcot, the decor at the resorts. It is well worth it. It really brings the family/Christmas/Holiday season to the heart.

Both of those times are our favorite times to go! If I had to pick, and since you want to see the Christmas decorations, I would pick the week after Thanksgiving. DH and I went at that time last year and loved it. By then all of the parks and resorts are decorated for Christmas. Spend some time to go around to all of the deluxe resorts to see their decorations. They are phenomenal! Have a great trip

We went last year the Saturday after Thankgiving for a week. It was wonderful-crowds seemed light to us. Saw all the decorations and the not to be missed Osborne Lights. Had such a great time we are already booked for this year-same time period.

I'd vote for the after Thanksgiving week. Less crowds and cooler weather and you'll see the holiday decorations and you can see the Osborne Lights at DHS. They usually start showing them around November 8th.
