help me decide Trails End or 50s PT

So, originally our day at DHS showed the park closing at 6:00. We have an early lunch booked at Sci Fi and I booked a 7:30 ADR at Trail's End (mostly for the chicken!). Now, DHS is showing that it is open until 7:00 that day. I know Trail's End is hard to get to (although we will have a car) and I'm guessing we'll have to leave before the park closes now to get to the ADR on time. I just checked and the 50's Prime Time has availability for 7:00 (meeting my need for chicken). Should I go for that instead or is it worth the hassle to leave the park a little early and go to Trail's End? By the way, we are park commandos who always go from RD to closing....

chicken dinner at PT is the best!Never been to trail's end, but having to leave the park early just for dinner is not an option for me!

Trail's End food has gone down hill. We didn't even eat there this year. I'd go for 50s

Listen, I am a Fort Wilderness FANATIC! But I would book that 50's PT dinner so fast it would make your head spin. As noted above, TE food has taken a turn for the worse. The chicken is still good...but so is PT's. And the atmosphere at PT, the hilarious CM's, the MILKSHAKES. And, you don't have to leave the park.

This is not even worth considering IMHO. Book it.

Looks like it's unanimous! I think it makes a lot of sense too. My DS-13 is a little disappointed that we're giving up an "all you can eat" place but he's glad we'll be able to stay in the park until closing. Besides, he still has Tusker House Breakfast, CP breakfast, WCC skillet, Ohana, and Garden Grill to look forward to "all you can eat", so I think he'll manage! Another bonus to this plan is we were really torn between Sci-Fi (which we did and loved in 2006) and 50s PT which we've never done, but wanted to try...now we can have our "cake" (smores?) and eat em too! Thanks for the feedback!
