Help me decide to upgrade or not!!!!!!

We are staying at the BC. We have a standard view. Do you feel it is worth the 400$ extra for a water view. It is my DH's favorite resort and this is the 1st time staying at BC. I want to make it special for him. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

We never upgrade, to us the view from the room isn't that important. At the BC, you could use the $400 for nice dinners, or walk around to the Boardwalk. There is a lot I would do with the money, beside looking out the window. Keep the curtain shut, and you won't miss a thing!
