Help me decide Spectro or Fantasmic

We're going to WDW in December and on our off-day we were planning to hit Fantasmics. But I just realized Spectro is the same night and maybe we should do that.

Our kids are 4 and 6 and we'd have done MVMCP the night before but won't be hitting a park until going to the parade or show.

So which would you choose and why?

YMMV, but for me there is nothing more magical than the Spectromagic parade. My kids have always been captivated by the extensive use of lights on all the characters and floats. The soundtrack sticks with you long after your vacation is over. Paired with Wishes, it makes for a magical night of entertainment.

Fantasmic aint bad either

They're both amazing, but I would pick Fantasmic. Fantasmic seems to put on more of a performance than Spectro. Much more thrilling to watch, although Spectro is fun.

Id personally pick Fantasmic. I think your kids would get a kick out of seeing the water sprays with the movie clips on them. I love fantasmic. Plus your kids will be seeing the AWESOME Christmas parade at MVMCP. Its my favorite!! Fantasmic is shown every night. theres not another time you can catch it and still see Spectro??

Spectro is amazing... but Fantasmic is better. If you can pick a night where there's Spectro followed by Wishes though, that would be your best bet!

I would choose Fantasmic! We enjoy spectro, but my kids enjoy seeing all of the characters in Fantasmic. My dd8 especially likes the princesses. Truthfully, you won't go wrong with either!

Spectromagic is so beautiful! (sigh) It is truly one of the highlights of our trip each year. The lights, the colors, the music...often followed by Wishes, it is what Disney magic is all about. You cannot help getting that "pixie dust" feeling. And every time you hear the music after that, you get that same feeling back again...including the tears.

I love both but if I had to choose, I'd go to Fantasmic
