We're thinking of making one last dining reservation for our last night. We're staying at the Polynesian with our two kids, ages 4 (boy) and 2 (girl). Grandma and Grandpa are along for the ride, too. We already have a Breakfast scheduled at Chef Mickey's (but we've never done a dinner there). And we already have something at Liberty Tree Tavern. We're thinking of doing one last dinner. What would you suggest, given the ages of my kids...

I put Mickey's backyard BBQ, but that one is kinda $$$. Having a boy and a girl I would stay clear of the princess themed meals. Also, I don't mind Chef Mickey's to much for breakfast, but did not like it at all for dinner. We waited for almost an hour past our ADR time and even after being seated, we didn't care for the food, we felt rushed by the waiter and did not get to even see all the characters. If you don't want to spend the extra money for the BBQ I believe I would have to go to Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace food is :thumbsup2! Are you also doing the breakfast at Ohana (since you are staying at Poly)? Ohana breakfast is :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 ! We LOVED it!

this buffet at Crystal Palace is so nice......good food for all ages and also the characters are pooh bear, eyeore, tigger and it was a blast.....we just went on Friday evening.....loved it all......I think the kids would like the characters as they are not threatening types...

The food is great at Crystal Palace, so that would be a good choice.

However, I must add that we had dinner at CRT (where the characters at dinner were Cinderella's mice and the Fairy Godmother...you meet Cinderella and take a picture before you go in.) It was the most magical thing I have experienced at Disney World. We were seated at a window table and luckily our dinner was timed so that Wishes went on during our meal. Right before the fireworks started, they turned the lights down low in the dining room. Because we were seated next to the window, we could watch the show right from our table. Many of the children gathered around us to catch a glimpse of the show. Tears came to my eyes and joy filled my heart.:wizard:

I chose CRT because its your last dinner and it should be in a special setting. To me, the best place to end your vacation should be inside Cinderella Castle since its the most famous icon at Disney and you also get bragging rights to have eaten inside the caslte.

We loved our dinner there on our last night!

I was pretty shocked to see Crystal Palace ranking in 1st place. I've never had decent food there. I chose Mickey's Backyard BBQ - that is a favorite among most families I know! Ohana's buffet at the Poly is also a great choice!

I voted for CRT. I have wanted to eat there in the past, but was afraid it would be too "girly" for my DS's. My DS's help plan all WDW trip, and I brought CRT up as a possible place to eat at for our trip next year. I just knew they would say it would be too "girly". Instead my DS9 said that he would like to eat there. That I always have to do boys stuff (I'm the only girl in the house.) and it would make him happy to take me there. Then my DS8 added, "Besides mom, it's not like eating there is going to turn us into girls.":lmao: You have no idea how hard it was not to laugh, b/c he was totally serious.

I think Mickeys Backyard BBQ is a reat choice. You can make a whole evening out it if you wish. They have a campfire sing a long with Chip and Dale, followed by a Disney movie under the stars.

The food at 1900PF was wonderful! I would highly recommend going there. The characters are great, and the GF is absolutely beautiful!

Off topic, but that is one of the sweetest things I've heard in a while...sniff!

I voted for Crystal Palace because of the characters and the fact that we had a really nice dinner there.
