Help me decide on hotel

We are going to Universal on May 11th and 12th for our second time. Last year we stayed on site and loved the pass for the lines however is it worth the price this time crowd wise for this time of year? We are only staying one night and just to sleep in the room then back up again to the parks. Are the crowds worth the $275 for the pass?

That's generally not a busy time so I think you could skip staying onsite and save that money. I just don't think it would be worth for the unlimited Express since the lines should be pretty short.
